#GEJAchievements in the Education Sector

- The GEJ administration succeeded in developing a 4-Year Strategic Plan for the development of the education sector.

- Under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, UBEC completed the harmonisation of Islamiyya and Basic Education curriculum for implementation in Almajiri schools. New schools were also completed.

- The GEJ administration launched the Girl Education Programme with the construction of boarding schools for girls in Adamawa, Yobe, Zamfara, Nasarawa, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Delta and Akwa Ibom.

- Under GEJ’s administration, Back-to-School Programme (Mmuta Bu’Ike) was launched In Enugu to enhance access to education for boys in the south-east geo-political zone.

- This administration saw the first set of students admitted into 9 new federal universities, to increase access to tertiary education.

- 9 new private universities were licensed by the GEJ administration, bringing total number to 50.

- Introduction of 1-Year formal early child education into the formal school system is another achievement of President Goodluck Jonathan in the education sector.

What about the ASUU and ASUP Strike?? The Soaring School Feez everyday?? The dearth in infrastructures,facilities as welll as teaching staffs in 90percent of our institutions??....How many Almajari are attending the schools??.....face reality,in education,health,power,job creation this man no try @ all...and these are d'main sectors that moves the economy,,His Canoe to Otuoke is already been paddled already
