This is wrong, where is the evidence linking him to the missing money.

People can hate you and raise false alarms, for evil reasons-the soldier man is dumb and can be punished heavily for this-the right thing he should do is hand over the man to the police.

This is wrong-all these punishment on the man cos we believe in superstition, the woman could have lost her money else where even before the man came along...how can a soldier just react without thinking-very sad.

This humiliation is too much.

A man was accused of being a thief and kept in the gutter, Politicians stole $20B and they ride private jets. Its sickening.

Nonsense! How is he a thief ? Any evidence to back the fact that he his indeed responsible for the missing money? He shld sue the woman jare!...Nonsense again!

The first sensible comment I have seen. There is no where in the law that says anything about using juju to rob someone. He should sue the woman.

let the law take its course.

What law? There's no law against juju. Where is the evidence? The poor guy might just be innocent.

He gave her N500 and immediately she put the money in her Wallet, all the money she had made for the day disappeared? Does this rubbish make any sense?

This is so shameful, the woman declares her money was missing magically, and suddenly she found the money again, what if she was checking the wrong side of her purse. Was the money found on the supposed thief ? No! The poor boy may have been punished for an offense he never committed. This could happen to anyone, and for those castigating the boy even when no evidence was found against him, someday , it may be you and then nobody may believe your defense. What goes around comes around. God will deliver us from our paranoid minds in this country

bro in Africa and Nigeria in particular,

black magic can do that

Picture this, a woman's son stole money from her purse without the woman knowing, and then u go to the woman's shop to buy something, paid her and u left. The woman then tried to put the money in her purse and discovered all her money was gone, she raised alarm shouting thief thief thief... The mob chases u and beat u up. U won't even have the chance to defend urself. What would u do in that scenario. This might be what happened to this young man. A lot of people have suffered jungle justice for crimes they know nothing about. Just pray u don't fall in his shoes. This is inhuman and must STOP.

Stop deceiving urself. Belief in superstition is our main problem in this country and that is why we find it difficult to progress.

Thank you sir, the rates at which youths are getting dumb in Nigeria these days is alarming...what happens to asking questions and doing further interrogations-its a pity how we live in this country.

All these superstitious beliefs is the reason for our backwardness.

Bros the thing taya me I swear. What happened to actually using our heads before engaging our fists? These days I find it difficult to give even a pregnant woman a lift in my car. Do u know why? Because if anything happens to her in my car the mob will pounce on me saying I used her for ritual. That is how f-cked up this country is.

Calabar people are civilize if it were other areas in Nigeria, they would have carried out jungle justice on him.

Everyday for the thief....you know the rest.

Wait a wait a sec.... What type of justice do u then call this... City justice? The soldiers ought to hand him to the cops... In one piece... Any justice not approved by law is also jungle justice o!
However, we all know that'll mean.. Bye bye money for his victim.

@OP , how did the money appear back ?

did the woman just "miraculously" found the money or she found out it was an error on her part ?

It is appalling how our "PROFESSIONAL" soldiers are behaving like uncivilized brute.

Guilt should be determined by law courts not soldier or mob.

Say no to JUNGLE JUSTICE

ARREST THE SOLDIERS!
I really wonder why some people are celebrating this disgraceful act. You do not have to dehumanize your fellow man this way.

The story leading to this act of dehumanization is simply not worth it.

It is fast becoming the practice of our soldiers to abuse their uniform.

These soldiers should be arrested and sent to fight in Sambisa forest. That is where action lies.

Guy stop deceiving urself. Swear to me say u don ever see where anything dey disappear and reappear before. If that is possible why he no go bank where the real money dey and make all the money there disappear. Or go to sambisa forest to fight boko harm since he has the power to make something disappear and reappear. Believing in supernatural things is dragging us backward in this country. Seriously if there is such power somewhere then goodluck Jonathan don't need to campaign at all. Buhari don't need to campaign. Just use supernatural power to command people to vote him in. Or use supernatural power to make INEC declare him winner. LOBATAN.
