I have a Toshiba Laptop. When i travelled and came back, it refused to charge, as in the the power indicators were not with light on. Pls what can i do? is it from the power cord or the battery?

Again, my laptop was screwed from the back. all of a sudden, one of the screws removed at the side and that side broke.
please, computer engineers in the house, any advice?

Lets attempt the first issue.
i would suggest a universal adapter.

Try charging the laptop without the battery. don't worry you wont blow anything up as long as the volatge on the laptop matches the one on the universal adapter (for example. if the voltage on your laptop is 20v make sure you set the voltage on the adapter to 20v).

if this fails, charge the laptop with the battery inserted.

7 of 10 times the above works for me.

please oooo, make sure you get your universal adapter from a reputable outlet and both volatges match.

if that doesn't work then it is the serials on the laptop battery points that went bad.

Such probs need a full system viewage and analysis. if you permit a hook up, the probs will be history.
