crucifixion was ancient Roman/jewish way of executing Criminal like hangman's gallow was old british way of executing criminals.

today, crucifix has become a the symbol of Christianity simply because jesus died on the cross or should i say because the jews nailed his butt t the cross .
some Christians even have more respect for the symbol more than they do for the religion.
some pastors use the crucifix for their spiritual mumbo jumbo. the catholic bishops use crucifix during exorcism. the pope's golden crucifix could take one community out of poverty.


now, the question is, if the romans executed jesus with let's say AK47 with jesus facing firing squad or with RPG
or may be with an electric chair, what would have been the symbol of Christianity?

if jesus had died in 21st century, they probably would have used lethal injection. Your story is invalid unless you know other methods of killing blasphemer like jesus during "his time"
