omega2128: Firstly, you cannot convert visit visa to permanent resident automaticaly but apply for work permit or step towards PR 1. Get LMIA job..possible but curent it just1% rate you will be succesful and becareful of scam and not all LMIA will lead to PR 2. Student route....you can apply student route outSIDE canada nd ur visit visa inside canada dont give any advantage in student visa you will still need same requirement like person applying outside canada and pay tuition 3. Truck driving route (shortage Occupation) this route is closed now under LMIA 4. Romance route..it marriage route which ircc closely monitor especially if u marry as visitor 5. Humanitarian/ refugee route that asylum it 50/50 depend on ur story but nt easy again with 99% of nigeria youth visitor to canada suddently become gay and lesbian 6. Personal support worker ( shortage Occupation) closed it now under LMIA Wish u all the best 1 Like |

Inksun: Anyone can invite anyone to Canada for a visit, and attending your boyfriend's graduation ceremony is a good reason with or without pgwp . However, are you underage and in need of a guardian to fund your visa application and trip? Even if you pay 10 billion to anybody, it still does not guarantee you will be issued a visa; that's my major point. Only the visa officer can decide whether to issue you a visa or deny it, not based on an adult having a guardian or the many documents filled out. Please note that those high success rates during the massive visa approvals do not apply now. So, play your gamble well, and know that your 2 million is often not refundable! |

Hi maternal,I got denied a student visa last year October DIY. So I want to pay an agent to help me get a visit visa that can later be turned to a work visa upon getting a job. My questions please? 1. Should I go ahead with the agent? (Requesting #350k for d visit visa, even though I will provide proof of funds of at least #3m in my account) 2. Or should I apply for it myself? 3. Is this a viable option to relocate to Canada? |

blessedbest: You DIY already and now contemplating using an agent? With various submissions on this platform, even agents come here to learn. Why not work on your POF, increase the figures, go though various contributions here and save yourself paying an agent N350k. Will the agent use same docs and info you used in your previous application? Abeg no risk am ooo. 1 Like 1 Share |

blessedbest: 1. This question has been answered severally on the thread. However, choosing to use an agent or representative is entirely your decision. You just have to bear in mind whatever is declared in your applicant by the agent would be your responsibility. You are the one the visa officer and CBA officer would hold accountable. Also, what is the agent rationale for asking you to have available $3million as proof of funds?. Please, bear in mind that presenting proof of funds (bank statement) does not end in presentation of the statement in itself. You have to provide back-up of the source of funds. E.g if it is a salary account, the support would be sample copies of payslips to evidence the credit inflows in statement. You have to provide reasonable back-up of the inflows explaining source of funds. Finally, the agent should know that amount to be presented as availability for your stay depends on the province and length of stay. 2. Dont you think doing it yourself will help you take more ownership of your application but choosing to use agent or DIY is your decision. It is a good step attempting to do it yourself for the student route. Just take your time and study the application process more, you would master it in no time but if you must use an agent, make sure they are licensed immigration consultant recognized by IRCC and those guys are not cheap. 3. Based on my experience in Canada in recent times, i would say NO. The economy is going through some challenging phase right now and there are lots of queues for few jobs. Many legal residents are not finding it easy but this is not to discourage you if you want to risk it. Just giving you a glimpsed of what it is looking like presently in Canada. My advice would be work towards Permanent Resident route instead. |

Good Morning house, I need some advise to apply for a visitor visa for my wife and the kids to come and visit me in Canada. Also, i recently applied for a semester break to resume my second semester in September 2024 instead of May 2024, which is already approved and i was issued a leave approval letter from the school. My question now is that should i include the leave approval letter for semester break in their application or i should not mention it? because i mentioned i needed a semester break due to unexpected marriage conflict in the course of my absence around my family, which has increasingly been difficult for me to concentrate with my studies and this really affecting my mental health. Can i also state this as their reason to visit me in Canada for duration of 2 weeks? Can they stay in the hotel during their visit in Canada Note: They were recently refused in January 2024 for SOWP & Study visa for the kids because i didn't included my own bank account and despite that my wife had a sufficient funds in her bank account with the proof of funds. Your insight is highly needed Thanks |

blessedbest: The Permanent Resident Pathway is an immigration route that gives you the opportunity to become a Permanent Resident of Canada. This route may take some time but it worth it if you can make the effort and patient. The thread below falls in that visa category. You can study the thread conversations to get acquainted and ask your questions there. https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled All the best! 1 Like |

olasubomy: Your no 3 point is the bomb. Thanks for this and I hope people would adhere to it. I am a student in the UK and will soon finish. I was planning on taking another student route to Canada this coming September. But I thought about it and researched on employment crisis currently ongoing in Canada. I realized I would be better of in UK at the moment, get my UK psw, then gradually processing the Canada PR. Converting vv to wv is less than 4% chances. One needs to be patient. 3 Likes |

omega2128: Many of us cannot swallow the truth, and that's the main reason agents will continue to cash in on our desperation and fondness for unrealistic adventures. Somebody just pointed out some loopholes in your foundlings and prospect path to PR in Canada, Instead of acknowledging these insights or countering with evidence, you see it as a pessimistic view. But I guess that's why you are stuck in the UK, and I was able to see many like you in the UK. Since you're just rushing to move abroad without detailed, clear research based on facts and not sentiment, go and see the number of people stranded in Canada based on this LMIA or your truck driver or psw theory that is extremely impossible to get. But you prefer to keep deceiving yourself. But what pains me more is the majority of Nigerians abroad do not tell the real truth about the situation on the ground but will share fake unrealistic life far from the truth they live.. When you arrive aboard and see the truth, it's truly sad!. 4 Likes |

uchennay: You guys get problems, massive one I watched a YouTube videos on all possible routes to change from visitor visa to work permit or residence permit. I wrote out the points and posted it, instead of sharing the channel. Is there anything new in what I posted? Romance, refugee, humanitarian, or job seeking? Someone wrote epistles to condemn everything. This page is for information, not condemnation. Someone shared information on GCMS note, many people tried it and gave feedback. Let our people know what's on ground, do your homework before jumping into aeroplanes. Only route naija sabi for Canada na asylum Asylum close the doors on every other options and people are seeking asylum at port of entry. For pesin running mouth about me being in uk, and applied to Canada. Well, if I'm illegal in uk, I can't apply. I don't know what is wrong with some people. Pls, don't channel your frustrations toward me. 1 Like |
