Halyshia: I think it will be difficult but experienced men in the house can give their take on that. For me, my wife is in Canada I am still lacking to put up a visitor visa, I don't know how to go about it 1 Like |

What visa type is your wife using in Canada? Canada priotise family reunion, so you have right to visit your wife if she is using the right visa type and you have marriage certificate and/or children. If she is using study, work or PR, she can invite you. You just need to proof every reason that you are coming back to 9jar, in your case, a viable land, lucrative job and property land will do because your wife is not here and obviously children? and other documents to show you coming back because it is clear to VO that you want japa to your wife without these documents. Show that your home tie in 9jar is stronger than Canada (remember she is renting in Canada and that mean your wife will accommodate you, that mean you will feel comfortable and may not come back to 9jat). Package your application well, be honest, be truthful and be genuine. Express the need to visit her, be emotional, show love, show how you missing her, be romantic and lastly be prayerful. It will end in praise. iraybuju: 1 Like |

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by iraybuju: 8:44am On Mar 20, 2022 |
Lezy: Thanks for your assistance but my biggest problem has been my financial status, no good job and I only have 2 piece of land which only has deed of transfer, no c/o yet. I was advised to meet travel agents that they know how to maneuver the paper works but I feel I can do the paper work myself only this financial aspect. This has been my barrier since last year. I dont want an attempt to fail. |

I think 30th April is too late. Many applicants from November 2021 have not gotten final decision, even if you submit on new portal. Though, every application is different and your God could make them answer you within a week but with the current trend, it will be good to give 3 months ahead. EffortlessGrace: 1 Like 1 Share |

Good Afternoon House , I applied for a visa to attend a conference scheduled to hold between 20 and 24 of next month . I submitted my application on 29/11/2021, biometrics was done on 10/12/2021. No response from them since and the conference is less than one month. Can I still reapply using the new portal considering the time frame ? Or should I just get a new invitation from the organizers for the June edition ? If yes can I still submit the same documents e.g bank statements .. |

I think your bank statement will be too old now, it is advisable to use a bank statement that is less than a month old Jyde1234: |

Hopefully your visa gets approved before your conference date but if not you should leave this application and it will most likely be approved before the june edition and you can use it then... You can just ask for a new invitation from the organizers if you miss this edition for reference if you want to travel by june Jyde1234: |

IRCC haven't been attending to GC Key applications recently but I got email from Nairobi that these applications are queued for processing now. Let's be hopeful and trust God that from this week, rain of PPRs will fall on us all in Jesus name. Don't reapply, it's too late and if you want to extend the traveling date too close, that is a red flat of despiration which might make them to focus on your application. Trust God for this one you submitted. You may not go exactly on the traveling date you specified but the visa will come out, visitor visa is flexible, which mean you can even go after the date you put down intially as long as your visa is valid It will end in praise

|

Halyshia:invite does not really carry weight in all circumstances. his chances of getting visa will be based on his personal circumstances in Nigeria- e.g travel history, landed properties, lucrative job or business in Nigeria. they have to be able to see that he will return back home and not japa. 1 Like |

I think you are actually wrong: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5865E.pdf "Proof of funds: If you are paying for your own trip, you must submit proof of sufficient funds to cover your travel and expenses in Canada. Provide the following: Original bank statements from your personal account for the past six months; The highlighted means the statement should be recent.- your financial situation can change a lot in 4months. although IRCC does not have a specific rule in this regard, it is advisable to provide very recent and authentic documents, especially considering how applications from Nigeria are thoroughly scrutinized ami213: |
