Please i have some questions and would love helpful inputs. I want to apply for visitor visa to go see by child who is a student.

1. Must the SOA be 6 months length? Can it be shorter like 4 months plus? Huge debits outside regular patterns were made around July(i want to avoid explanation if possible)

2. For kids born in the US, must you attach their US birth certificate or would attaching their Nigerian birth certificate be read as misinterpretation.

3. Bill for the US birth not totally cleared, a payment plan is a place with them. Would this affect visa approval? Do i need to state this in SOP?

Firstly,you do not need that number 3.and the number 2 question....how can a person have 2 birth certificate if you born in one place...if your child was born in usa then only the usa birth cert is proof of birth ..and number 1 question,you can present 4 or 6 month and if any large sum ,just be honest and explain..visa approve is not bases only on bank account...your work,your travel history,your property, landed property,your home ties like husband and family in nigeria all add to visa sucesss so do not based ur application only on bank account.l wish you sucess

Please if someone submits a new passport in addition to the old passport after PPR, which will be stamped? The applicant got PPR for visitor visa last week and has been trying to get a new passport, because the old passport expires in 7months. Submitting the old one isn't advisable cos IRCC will only stamp 7months.

So my question is, do they have to inform IRCC of the new passport details (after they get it) via webform or go ahead and submit both old and new passport? Any response would be appreciated, thanks

I want to apply for a visitor visa to Canada , my son and I are travelling, at what point will i fill his details too that he is also travelling with me , or there is no need for it since he is a minor. Or its when passports is requested that i will also send his own passports too. i need advise.

My agent applied for me online on the 2nd June and I did my biometrics at VFS Global Lagos on the 22nd June, upfront medical on the 27th July.

The agent has the IRCC account details while I have details for the email used.

When I track the application using the tracking # on the yellow receipt issued by VFS global, it's reads "NO RECORD FOUND".

Based on the application time past, I want to raise a webform on my own. I have asked the agent to do so but he responded "the embassy is yet to send a message across"

Please advice me.

You can raise a webform on your own as long as you have your application no and UCI no. Also since it's your email that was used, do forget password to change password. If your agent has raised a webform, ircc may not reply you if your application is still within processing time
