Hi please my mum just got ppr for visit visa and I wanted to find out how to go about stamping the passport in lagos. Anyone that can help (I read that you can now submit in Lagos, I will be glad if someone can just summarize how to go about this)

If you're submitting in person, you don't need consent form, but if you're using third party then you need consent form.. print it out and fill with pen

I and my husband submitted our passports yesterday. Prior to this, we renewed our old international passport and it was signed 19th of June while we submitted 30th of June. We recieved the passport request mail 2nd of June.

This is my question : Our application was on our old passport. After we received the passport request, we went renewed pur passport before submitting but did not fill a web form or inform them that we renewed. I don't know why I'm just slightly worried that this may be an issue.could this lead to any problem?

When we got to the VFS centre we asked a staff working there if this would be a problem, but he said no it won't. And we also found people who did the same thing. Hubby thinks it's not a problem at all because the old passport number is always boldly written on the data page and can be verified.

It is a tourist visa application and hubby has travel history from Canada, as he schooled there from 2009-2015.

Pls u don't need any agent for d baby. So long u hv ur whole documents, just upload them by ur self and if u r stuck u can come here and ask questions

Just yesterday? Track it and when it's delivered to vfs, you can chat vfs up for your passport tracking

I think they priotize in person submission over third party submission, knowing you waited for a while to get to your date of appointment after booking...

When I submitted, I just acknowledgement message immediately, and my evening, I received another message stating its on transit to ircc for processing...

Check for booking for in person submission first if you live in neighbouring states to Lagos or Abuja, and if tge date available is out the time frame given to you (30days), then opt for courier

The think the use of courier should be the last resort.

Yes, a guy documents wasn't complete he was told to leave the stand and fill in the appropriate info... which I believe I'd do and he'll attended to, ... if the documents was sent by courier, the dispatch person can't write your email address and phone number for you on the copy af your passport data page, on so your ones passport could be returned.

I wanted to go pick mine back from DHL because I just miraculously got appointment date for this Wednesday but they said it is already out with courier

Please can someone help me it’s urgent. I got an email saying my passport has been couriered by the courier company and on it’s way back to me since 27th July. I still haven’t received any tracking id or AWB for the shipment from the courier company. I sent an email to VFS and no response and also tried chatting them online but never successful reaching any of them.

What do I do and also which courier service does VFS use to send one’s stamped passport back.

2 weeks gone I'm yet to receive my passport from VFS after making expensive payments to receive them and sent an email. The customer service number is always unreachable, webchat is becoming busier than usual, emails they respond maybe after 2 weeks. What else can I do?

Did you just goto the lagos office because the email they sent to us was that in person appointment is not possible. We dont even know the process to pay for courier. After sending them the courier fee where will we send the receipt of payment to. Please someone assist with how to collect stamped passport. Thank you. Finally gotten my passport from VFS Lagos office today submitted last week Friday.

I was giving number 336 when I arrived around 1:30pm and there are many people waiting for passport collection at the back of the VFS office, if you are going for passport collection please be there as early as possible.

Lagos VFS office is now faster than before and l think no need to send your passport to Abuja anymore my one cent advise.

It is not an issue. I renewed my passport before submitting it to VFS without filling a webform and my passport was stamped. Since a staff told you that it not a problem, you don't have to worry about it. The good thing about the renewed passport is that the embassy will give you visa that has the same duration with your passport

Did you fill the courier consent form and your address , name and phone number on a separate white plain paper? If yes i guess you have to wait after 24 hours to get the tracking details from DHL , i suppose you will be notified when it gets to your preferred location as filled on the consent form. I was notified by VFS to wait for 24hours to receive the tracking information from DHL . Keep in mind the cause of the delays could have to do with the public holidays and the weekend. All the same i will keep you posted on further details if i get any new notifications, seems we have similar timeline for collection but in person collection won’t be possible now from VFS, it’s a waiting game.

I didn't write on the passport data page but I wrote on a piece of paper.

DHL said my documents is in the Abuja office. I am thinking of going to get it back on Monday to submit myself.

Make sure you state your visa denials.
Make sure you have good proof of your properties (land)
As regards your business, have you maintained a good amount/sum as your minimum balance for 3 - six months?

Depends on where you landing. Choose a province and one city. Go online and look for tourist sites in that city. Choose a date when you expected to travel and return e.g August 1 2023 to August 14 2023.
