Don't forget that he was a high ranking officer prior to the training

It is clear that Buhari did not have Waec and he was smuggled into the army in the usual way the north does their thing . we re in 2015 not 1960 . Promotion of mediocracy by the north has got to stop . Every body should be treated equally and be given equal opportunies in this country . This practice put Nigeria in this mess . Buhari should come out and tell us the truth then resign from the contest and another well educated person should take over in APC

PDP Apo l o g i s ts and APC advocates Read My Conclusions...

While I will choose to mantain my neutrality
(obviously not the best I know) on the matter
at hand, I want to briefly state my conclusions
from my thorough perusal of the different
submissions that have been made by both
parties' supporters on different threads.
1. The PDP apologists (and I wonder if thesame
is true of the wider majority) have presented
their arguements with well researched and
intellectually stimulating facts (not without
some sentiments though)
2. The APC 'change-advicates' are in a battle to
defend what has been represented as facts but
seem to be lacking substantial evidence to
support their claims. Their last resort appears
to be indirectly admitting that they might be
wrong but it doesn't matter as long as they get
to see a different face in Aso rock.
3. Following from (2) above, the concept of
change, looks to me like it is not one that is
based on ideologies but on simply getting a
new face in the polity (a little bewilding)
4. There is evidently no love lost between the
supporters from both groups (we no be one
nigeria again?). Hence whoever wins the
election, there is every indication the opposing
group will cry foul (may God help us)
5. The PDP seem to have more supporters
among the very educated (Not to say all APC
supporters are unschooled). Hence the APC
sympathizers seem to careless about the
qualifications and economic prowess of their
candidate. If not, the ideal strategy would
have been to potray more of their running
mate who evidently would appeal more to the
majority of enlightened Nigerians.

He didn't say that his certificate was with the military. But he referred any enquiries to the military . The explanation is clear that 6th form students in those days were drafted into the military in order to build up the officer cadre immediately after independence. The story is very clear although the military may actually have tampered with the personal file. You know that the desperation of the current office holders knows no bounds , the government could easily influence the military suppress full information. ( the despicable , gory front page PDP advert deriding the past leaders and wishing death to Buhari is very fresh on our minds).
When you look at his qualifications and also look at the constitutional requirement you know ,if you are honest, ( and I believe you are) that Gen Buhari satisfies the condition to contest and that's why he contested 3 times in the past. But Nigerians now can see thru PDP , can see how the country is being destroyed while a sitting president just sit and looks. So people are seriously asking for change. The panic from the ruling party is use all means of smear campaign and character assassination to destroy the opposing leadership. Health static fabrication, calling for death, certificate intrigues , as the Islamists extremist picture and arbitrary claim of funding terrorist painted earlier is falling apart. . So what next? Why don't they talk about real development issues instead of appealing to emotions of the gullible voters?

The real problem here is not with Buhar per se, it's the fact that the Northerners have been fooling the rest of us for decades. I am confident that the vast majority of Northerners who are in their 60's/70's today and have held senior positions in the armed forces/Civil service, NEVER had the qualifications to do so. For God's sake even now we have a situation where a kid from Adamawa can pass common entrance with 5 out of 400. What kind of SSC result do you expect such a kid to latter get?

Please everybody let's be honest with ourselves. If you are going for a job interview you are required to bring your certificates. What we can see now is that even when Buhari first applied to join the Army he NEVER presented them the original c of his certificates from which they could make copies. Later he swore an affidavit that his certificate was with the Army. That affidavit was FALSE. No If's No but's.

Please think of tomorrow. If he can lie on something like this what will he do tomorrow. What will he do when investigators present him with evidence of corruption from APC members? Will he lie it away so it dose not cause him problems.

I have no doubt that person for person, Buhari is more honest and upstanding than GEJ, but he's not the messiah we need in this country. We need to go back to the drawing board and start to plan for 2019 and ensure that a PROVEN achiever like Fashola or Osho baba is the candidate of REAL CHANGE, not Buhari who is part of the establishment trying to present himself as a change agent.

I don't like replying folks who can not do without insulting others. However, i will give you a reply cos of the issue u raised. I can only say that if there is anything to be misplaced, stolen or destroyed in GMB military file, it would only be photocopies, not original certs. No one, i repeat no one gives his original copy of his cert to his employer. Pls when did they ever said that the 'original certs of past leaders are with them? Give us the link pls. NB, pls no insult, we can do without it.

Where in the laws of our land does it say his certificates are for public consumption? Even Inec who published details of candidates didn't publish such.
Has his opponent, Jonathan whom all of u believe has a certificate? Have u seen it?
