barcanista: We all know there are many variants in spelling of that name, including the French variant of Muslim names. Same as following: Abdullah/Abdulahi/Abdoulaye Nasir/Nasiru Tawfiq/Taofeeq Ahmadu/Ahmad Suleiman/Sulyman The key issue is that whatever variant you chose to use in official documents, you must stick with it. Using different variants in various official documents is not allowed since it could give rise to impersonation, and establishing true identity of people Take for example. If a candidate comes to you for employment and: a) His GCE bears Abdoulaye Nasiru Magoro b) His BSc bears Abdulahi Nasir Magoro c) His MSc bears Abdulah Nasiru Magoro Would you in all honesty accept these 3 documents as belonging to one and the same person, without accompanying sworn affidavit of name changes? The point many people miss is that the singular reason people will vote for Buhari is his perceived honesty and uprightness. If this uprightness cannot be demonstrated in a very basic thing like secondary school certificate, people get very concerned as to what else he is lying to the world about. Buhari's official campaign website even refers to him both as "Muhammad" and "Muhammadu" (see attached). Is this sloppiness or derived from references to his various official documentation? Nigerians need some clarity. 1 Like

barcanista: My point has been elaborated in my post. Thought you read it. I extract the salient paragraphs below: "Take for example. If a candidate comes to you for employment and: a) His GCE bears Abdoulaye Nasiru Magoro b) His BSc bears Abdulahi Nasir Magoro c) His MSc bears Abdulah Nasiru Magoro Would you in all honesty accept these 3 documents as belonging to one and the same person, without accompanying sworn affidavit of name changes?" 2 Likes |

See what educated youths are doing for a grand pa who truncated democracy in 1983 and still wants to stagnate their destiny in 2015. I pity Nigerian youths. 1 Like |
