Hello Nairalanders,
Let me introduce myself first. I did my NYSC in 09/10 batch A in Nachi-Udi LG in Enugu State, its an interior village where there is no tarred road, i served in the only Private school in the community. I really enjoyed the love and the fun i had then, it was really interesting, the indigenes were friendly and my students as well. the school is a Female school. the community is few kilometers to Enugu town.
Let me not bored you with words, kindly find some of my experiences in pictures.

It depends on how disciplined you are. If the student errs and you think the best punishment is to flog then, so be it.

I wish your prayers will be answered. by the time you serve in Bayalsa village, you go know say Village pass village. No network, No good drinking water. and the mosquito there, very special breed. I never knew how to search for network on a phone till i got there. that was in 2005/2006. maybe things has improved in that state but it is not a place to wish for an enemy.

Too bad I am already serving in Lagos. I wanted to serve in Enugu actually.

2. Route to the stream.

3. Less than 20hrs to close the camp, we were alllowed outside the camp for 1hr.

sile12 on a canoe with probably smuggled goods, Bank of River Gongola, flows in from Cameron.

4. Camp gate, old Gongola Brewery, Damare, Yola, Adamawa State.
