Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Haruna Mohammed, in a statement said the accident occurred about 7 pm yesterday along Bauchi/Gombe Federal highway in Alkareri LGA. Mohammed said three Hummer buses and a motorcycle were gutted by fire. According to Sun,The accident claimed 14 lives who where burnt beyond recognition, he said. Police patrol team attached to Alkaleri Division visited the scene, cleared obstruction and evacuated the casualties to Federal Medical Centre, Gombe, he noted.
