DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Friday he plans to visit Nigeria, where the Islamist militant group Boko Haram is waging an insurgency, "in a couple of days".

Kerry spoke in Davos as he gave an address to global business and political leaders on countering violent extremism.

@ the bolded, I agree with you on this. However in a country like Nigeria where regional politics & tribal sentiments are the order of the day, you can understand their choice of Buhari & Osinbajo.

I personally would have preferred a fresher head like Fashola as their candidate but Nigerians aren't the most logical people out there, it is what it is.

You can only play the cards you're dealt, at this point, Buhari is the lesser of two evils, Jonathan's incompetence is sickening, anybody will do better than him, even a goat.

Four more years of Jonathan will destroy what is left of Nigeria.
