The Presidency has released a statement concerning Pastor David Oyedepo’s statement earlier today about “opening the gates of hell”. In the statement, President GEJ subtly confirmed that Pastor Oyedepo, The General Overseer of the famous Winners Chapel and Chancellor Of Covenant University, indeed held the keys to the gates of hell, but that a huge amount of money had to be paid for its use. The statement read: “…… We had to influence the opening of the gates of hell with a huge sum of money, and the sum was paid in dollars. This is part of the reason why dollar has risen to N208 but we plan to stabilize that immediately after the elections. Please bear with us.” In related news, the APC presidential candidate, Gen. Buhari, seems to have been shaken by Pastor Oyedepo’s threat of opening hell, and is considering stepping down from the presidential race.
