Diesel that they claimed has been fully deregulated, its price refused to come down. Whereas, cheaper diesel price will help the economy and make business cheaper to run as most businesses, factories, govt agencies and even Aso Rock sef runs on diesel. Na only God go save us from this cabal that is holding the country and its leadership by the jugular. 4 Likes |

Why do you want a drop in the price of diesel? you guys said the drop in petrol is bad and that he did it because election is around the corner, so the great GEJ is not reducing the price of diesel until after the election. |

You can see clearly from the graph as it was stated that average prices for diesel are 1 dollar. Last I checked 1 dollar converts to 167 naira. I hope you know where I'm driving at? |

chamboy: The prices of diesel are in the control of the private sector. Government stopped subsidizing the prices of diesel years ago. |
Re: Diesel Price Still ₦147..... When Would Drop In Oil Price Affect Diesel In Naija by Nobody: 11:21am On Jan 27, 2015 |
EmoBoy: This is an even bigger reason for prices to fall, because prices in a deregulated market are supposed to be subject to market forces which are a mix of supply, demand and cost of production. So if we import diesel from a global market and prices are falling in other countries, it is common sense to expect a similar fall in Nigeria. OP is right. |
