datribune: Let us not deceive our self. Buhari knows nothing. He even implicated himself in one of the campaigns, by promising to stabilised the price of oil once he became the president. He is like a old train that has been park too long. He should go and rest and take care of his health. The cabal are not doing him any good. 2 Likes |

It really shows an honest man who is principled. A smart man cannot swim with those who want him drowned. Buhari and APC have the momentum right now, so why mess it up. Rotimi Amaechi is probably the smartest political strategist in Nigerian history. I'm sure Buhari could have jumped into this debate if Rotimi and Fayemi are not there with him. Moderator: GMB, do you think you have the moral justification to contest for the president of this nation after puting an end to a civilian government by coup in 1983? GMB: *coughs*..., next kwepshion Moderator: It appears you are becoming senile lately, forgeting lots of things including your vice's name. GMB: Bekwus I called Osinbanjo Osinbande, you are all shaoting. Moderator: Why did yo present an altered result to Nigerians when we all thought you are incorruptible? GMB: Only Allah is inkwuruptable, walai Moderator: GMB, where is your certificate? GMB: Go and kwulekt it from Shekau. Moderator: Will you start fighting corruption from APC chieftains? GMB: I am going for prayer now. 3 Likes 1 Share |

alaoeri:lets say na PDP say no go go for this debate, what will APC people be saying?... Why is other parties not running away from this debate? Why was APCs asking for debate when people are asking for GMB‘s certificate? What are APCs really afraid of? This is how GMB refused to answer when he was invited by Oputa panel. GMB hates confronting the people. He is so used to command and obey (obey before complain) that he find it difficult to answer to common civilians. I still wonder how he will work with National Assembly if he mistakenly wins (GOD FORBID). APC should have a rethink on many areas of life. 1 Like |

Elections getting interesting by the day, I must confess I'm having n catching fun from the various news that's been trending about campaign for a while now, different bombs and RPGs being thrown from one political camp to the other..at least I can say that people are getting more inclined and exposed politically by the hour. However, big events to me like the upcoming debate shouldn't be handled with hands of levity by way of trying to shy away from the debate by giving us unreasonable reasons why a candidate can't participate, for crying out loud, this is an open debate that Nigerians are longing to watch live from the corners of our rooms, we want to hear from the horses' mouths. Regardless of whoever organised the debate or however it is being organised, GMB should come out and participate in the debate, I want to believe the judges would be fair and unbiased. Mai vote still goes to GMB though, bur we need you to add some swag to your strategies and addresses..we just can't afford another 4yrs of dulling.. |

lyntiffany:Unfortunately people don't take rational decisions The journalists can afford to take him apart on issues that many cannot reason about Jonathan said Buhari did not buy a rifle in 1984-85 and people applauded forgetting that in 1992 - 95 or so we spearheaded Ecomog war in Liberia and Sierra Leone Let me give you an example A Buhari critic wrote this "I watched in horror when he said he would ask our able-bodied men to embrace Agriculture. So primitive" Yet he was not horrified when Jonathan said virtually the same thing in Kebbi and Sokoto and went on to call himself the President's farmer in Benue Was he not talking to able bodied men or can superannuated people be expected to drive a sector that is the largest contributor to GDP? |

Whoever came up with the cancellation idea is a genius. As much as we can't really determine the reasons behind it, it really makes sense for Buhari, APC and supporters to avoid such a colossal disaster. I have a simple solution to the problem. It will suit all parties. To avoid expo, let the organizers send each candidate a copy of the debate. They all will have to work with their parties to come up with a great debate. There will be no excuses and accusations. That way, it will come down to which candidate is more articulate and understands the economics of the day. If that doesn't work, nothing will. My opinion. 11 Likes 4 Shares |

SOLA OMOLE has leaked questions to be asked to GEJ. what is his take on the defamatory documentary about GMB. Raymond Dokpesi has been doing GEJ bidding no matter what it will cost him. VON+FRCN+NTA+AIT=PDP, but Channels+Saharareporter+Christiane Amanpour= Neutral Body. 1 Like |

Although while the Presidential debate would have been the best window for BUHARI to express and shed more lights on his programmes and the party manifesto. It is perceived that the debate is the handwork of the ruling party to embarass GMB. Debate or no debate what Nigeria need is a good government devoid of any characters that can fuel crisis in the country.....Electorate knows that it is time to think deep and twice as well....We do not need transformation but all we need are, power, employment, food, shelter and all good things of life. God bless Nigeria. annibro: 2 Likes |

Am i getting something wrong here? How can a debate be biased? Would the journalists stop him from answering questions accurately? Would they prevent him from providing well articulated answers to questions raised? Would they stop him from airing plans he has for Nigerians? Would they stop him from defending himself once and for all of all accusations that the PDP have been leveling against him? heck! even if his opponent have seen the questions before hand how does it affect his abilities of answering his own questions correctly and convincingly? Do you runaway from an exam cos your classmates have seen the questions before hand? Is he scared? I thought he should be happy for finally getting an opportunity like this sef? 18 Likes 6 Shares |

Jonathan 'mr How much did nwobodo stole' with fearful shaking lips can not and never stand Buhari. Good move by APC to have opted out, everything ' federal' in Nigeria now under Jonathan is controlled like a baby toy. Look at the way Military, dss, police are passionately and shamelessly defending PDP in public glare. 2011 we witnessed the prepared questions/debate and presidential briefing .... |
