Hey guys, I just want to find out if it's possible to play games with playstation 2 Dualshock 2 controller on PC.. I tried it today but it didn't work, so is there any work around to be able to use this. I tried it on PES 15.

PS: I prefer using PS 2 pads than all these fake pc pads sold around

just get a good pad

I trust Microsoft game pads I've been using mine since 2010, never played soccer sha.

Yes you can but you need to get your hands on USB Gamepad PS2 Controller Adapter, here i one on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PS2-PS-Game-Pad-Controller-to-PC-USB-Convertor-Adapter-UK-EU-/281349626135?pt=UK_Video_Games_Cables_and_Adaptors&hash=item4181be9917

I personally use PS3 PAD on my gaming PC using Motionjoy and yes Motionjoy will work on PS2 pads too. Watch the video.

I bought jc tech dual shock-pad in 2008 for two player games. it's still working.

in 2012 I saw one transparent 'Microsoft ' pad single player., so I bought it. this one is beautiful.

I think the other one I bought in 2008 was 1700 while this one I bought in 2012 was 1,200

Get a DualShock 4 controller, it works flawlessly and you can used it wirelessly if your PC is Bluetooth enabled.

that's what I see as the name, 'Microsoft '. I don't really know but it's serving me well.

Yeah I just ordered for one on Konga. Anyway maybe you can find one of the one's shadowgwalker is referring to. My experience with these other USB pads hasn't been very good that's why I am going for the Xbox controller.

Thanks a lot guys, I got my dualshock 2 to work . The fault came from the initial converter I was using as it wasn't for pc I guess. So i changed it to the blue one you see in the pic below.

Here's a screenshot of how things are now in place.

Nice one. I like that it is dual controllers, easy to do versus mode games. Where did you get the converter?

When I returned the controller to the seller, he said there is no reason to return it because the fault is from the converter and not the controller. So he said he will get one suitable for pc. He got it at computer village, ikeja.

yea...that's the only definite solution to pc pad problems,use the xbox 360 pad 4 adventure games,then the normal pads for soccer(fifa 15)!!!

Just took delivery of my Xbox controller and it works like a charm. Had to download drivers though. Can't wait to try Dragon Age Inquisition, Devil May Cry, Arkham City with this baby.
