I just read a thread where people where some fools were in support of Tompolo and Asari Dokubo threat of war if Goodluck Jonathan loses the election. Tompolo,Boyloaf and Asari Dokubo are not freedom fighters like Che Guevara or Fidel Casto, but oil bunkerers and pirates out for their own selfish intersts.
Why did Tompolo buy a private jet and 7 warships and Asari Dokubo build a University in Benin Republic what does this have to do with the Niger Delta struggle? If war breaks out AsarI dokubo will run to Benin Republic and Tompolo will run out of the country,this people are all about enriching their pockets and don't care about the so called Niger Delta struggle put protecting their oil pipeline contracts and oil bunkering territory.
I hate to see fools on nairaland support this people. I lived in Warri and these Militiants never did anything for the community whatsoever the ones in town involved in oil bunkering bought really expensive cars and spent it drinking and chasing women.
These militants are not freedom fighters go to all the communities they come from do you see them building boreholes,renovating schools,buying medicine for their communities no you don't they are nothing but criminal gangs that the goverment has to pay to keep the oil flowing.

There is land in Warri,Port Harcourt but Dokubo-Asari owns a football club, automobile academies and real estates in Benin Republics and private university in the country named King Amachree African University all in Benin Republic yet some fools on here are still supporting him like he cares about the Niger Delta and really fighting for "the struggle" he's fighting for his pocket. There are genuine Niger Delta activist out there they are just not armed with weapons and don't have media exposure. These militants are nothing but cultist and pirates.

Exactly! do you know how many people a University employs. Even simple footbal academy he also built in in Benin Republic, you see why he's confident threatening fire and brimstone if we don't vote Goodluck Jonathan he has no investment in Nigeria and will run to Benin Republic were he is also a citizen.

There are many genuine activists you see and some militants groups did have sincere reasons for fighting . However militants like Boyloaf,Tompolo,Ateke Tom,Asari Dokubo are not activists just cultists and criminals. For example Ateke Tom was used by Peter Odili to rig elections then after being armed went into oil bunkering. I lived in Port harcourt and Warri I know about the story of these militants

When their godfather is our so-called president, you should expect actions like this from them. If the lame-duck president cannot call them to order, shey na you go do am?

Benin Republic is an extension of the family. You know what I mean?

If not they would bomb oil installations and cripple the economy (How does that even sound to a sane man ears?). For their own selfish gain they are willingly to impoverish their own region? or are they saying the Niger Delta won't suffered from it too.

The current system Of Amnesty is flawed and higly corrupt system. For example Kingsley Kuku who is in charge of the Amnesty program set up "Air Peace Airlines" with Amnesty fund. The people in the oil producing communities are not directly benefitting just the Militants and Kingley Kuku friends like Allen Onyeama. They are using the funds to buy private jet,start airlines and build Universities in Benin Republic,Buhari has to change this by ensuring the people in the oil producing communites benefit through hospitals,clean drinking water and recreational centers. This system of paying ransom to militants for oil to keep flowing has to be broken by Buhari. If the communites benefit directly in terms of infrastural projects they will be the ones to protect the pipelines and chase the militants/pirates away.

I do not support the injustice in the Niger Delta because 80% of the oil blocks are owned by Northerners some of whom have never stepped foot in the Niger Delta yet make billions yearly. These oil blocks were cornered by the North doing IBB and Abacha regimes.IBB even dashed one to Forunsho Alakija to make her the richest black woman in the world.
I hope if Buhari wins he restructures the ownership of oil blocks to reflect more ownership by those in the Niger Delta oil producing communities by giving them shares in these oil block,this way militants power will be broken.
