Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere has passed away in a car accident on Saturday. Mhere’s PR company, Styling Concepts posted a Twitter update confirming his death. With a heavy heart we confirm that Simba Mhere passed away today in a tragic car accident. A press release will soon follow. #RIPSimba — Styling Concepts (@StylingConcepts) January 31, 2015 Simba who was 31 years rose to fame after winning a Top Billing talent search competition in 2010. Some media reports have said he died in an early morning accident on the N3, near the OR Tambo International Airport.
