Faibuhari: But why did GEJ not deliver the dividends to ordinary people .I taught if you did not have shoes in the past you will think about your own yesterday and think about some people without the shoes today and try to reduce their pains. He had so much money at higher oil prices ,so what happened.so it is the 2nd term that we will see wonders 2 Likes |

daughterofzion:Buh, seriously, would you have expected INEC to bear the logistical costs associated with such transfers? I travelled close to 700km to get mine; made an application for a relocation of my polling unit after the window had closed, which was not granted; and would be travelling back to Warri to make the sacrifice of voting Buhari. It would help to put things in proper perspective so as not increase the discontent of some fellows that are still expecting their PVC to be delivered to their doorsteps. 3 Likes |

Can any good news about PDP come out of premium times and saharareporters? Its amusing that a newspaper only carry news for a particularly party. RIP to true journalism and welcome to brown-envelop journalism. 1 Like |

olas24u:the man in the street has never felt the positive input of govt at the federal level apart from fuel reduction, the local and state govt are better placed to provide those services for the *Man in the street*. Gej delivered the dividends for you and me who are entrepreneurs or employyed through minimum wage and enabling economic environment for business to thrive. |

A little off topic. Recently, My colleagues and I went into an argument or would I say a discussion titled: The MAIN THEME OF THE CHANGE WE NEED IS #NOBOKOHARAM. My own view is that if there was no issue like the BOKO HARAM, Would we still clamour for #THECHANGEWENEED. I think not. One would say CORRUPTION. but can we be truthful with ourselves Every regime nigeria has had was filled with corruption at different levels. At this point I would be grateful if NAIRALANDERS could help out with this MINI POLL to help my colleagues and I have a more representative view of this CHANGE we clamour for. Question: What Do we MEAN by CHANGE (a single reason). 1) NO Boko Haram 2) No corruption 3) just want a new face 4) something else (please state) Disclaimer: This is a neutral post. This is no way affiliated to any political party https://www.nairaland.com/2128601/let-us-state-facts-when#30402711 |

There's no need to postpone the election. If it is true that they are sponsored by Jona and PDP, then Jona is indeed even more clueless than people think. This election is supposed to have been rigged and sealed like 2 years ago. If Jonah doesn't have this election in the bag, he is indeed an honest president. I can't believe that PDP hasn't concluded the election since. I don't wanna buy this postponement story line. Nigerians open your eyes. This postponement story is a distraction. PDP is pretending and selling this shit to APC and they are buying into it. PDP is ready and will out-rig APC outrightly. Jona, if you can't win it, rig it. After all there has never been a free and fair election in Nigeria. If Buhari and some thieves from the west wanna team up to cheat the Niger delta, then you have to do whatever you can to stop them. Meanwhile, I no get party o and I no be from Niger delta. I hate double standards. I hate two-faced people. I hate hypocrites. Jona has done better than everyone before him. If Obasanjo got 2 terms, Shagari too, then why not Jonah? Na now una want to fight corruption. Where were you guys all these years? Wicked idiots. 1 Like |

Any attempt to postpone this election will be strongly resisted and the consequence for the country will be better imagined than witnessed or experienced. Those that want to collect their PVC still have one week to do so. The Presidency and PDP are behind this plan but they will fail. They are terrified and scared of losing this election hence their resort to armchair tactics. Bunch of loosers!! 1 Like |

olas24u: Why didn't obasabjo do it? Why did all the people before Jonathan do it? It appears to me that we are judging Jonathan harshly. Maybe because he's Ijaw and not from one of the big 3. We expect too much from Jona. Per adventure Buhari wins, he's not gonna get much done if he faces the same problems Jonathan has faced. Change takes time. Anybody who tells you otherwise, is lying. |

Eluwilussit: Because he his ijaw? Are you making sense that way we have so many tribes in the Niger delta and every body came together in 2011 through protest ,save Nigeria group leader was a Yoruba man, the woman that moved the motion is an Igbo woman .so what is this talk about ijaw ,could he have been there without the support of other nationalities . Every part of the country supported him and why is it that they dont support him any more? 1 Like |

Guys, either way with these two gladiators, isn't it a deadend? Besides, those screaming pdp is this and that seem to quickly forget that very many of these APC people were themselves core PDP elements who have not changed their characters, including likes of Atiku, Obj even IBB people we hv suffered under them. Interesting times. Watching to see what plays out. |
