If you've acquired any degree online, is theres any discrimination against it in the real employment world or is it equally respected. Pls share your experience?

Yes they are recognized . The education has gone virtual and you have a lot of sites that offer MOOCs ( Massive open online courses). Sites like Coursera and Edx come to mind , where you can do a course which is not a degree course in itself but is a part of the work load or course work for either a degree or Master degree course.
Other online courses offered by foreign universities are recognized worldwide , but you have to prove that you actually learnt something.
