To Nigerians home and abroad (black, half caste..... and even Chinese caste grin **kidding** But seriously, what's your opinion on online study generally? If you've acquired any degree online, is theres any discrimination against it in the real employment world or is it equally respected. Pls share your experience?

Yes they are recognized . The education has gone virtual and you have a lot of sites that offer MOOCs ( Massive open online courses). Sites like Coursera and Edx come to mind , where you can do a course which is not a degree course in itself but is a part of the work load or course work for either a degree or Master degree course.
Other online courses offered by foreign universities are recognized worldwide , but you have to prove that you actually learnt something.

I hope this helps.
