The newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police,AIG, to Zone 2,Lagos State,Mr Joseph Mbu met with Gov. Babatunde Fashola,recently.

Both of them had a closed door meeting which lasted for several hours at the Lagos House,Alausa,Ikeja.Details of the meeting were not revealed but a close source said they discussed about the security of the state especially before and after next month's election.


He was deployed recently to Lagos from Police Command Zone 7 in Abuja,to Zone 2,Lagos.
His deployment was criticized by many people saying it was linked to rigging of election in Lagos.

His deployment cannot work so far this is western Nigeria. Whatever he did in Rivers remain and bury there. He dear not misuse his opportunity here or the seat will be too hot for him.
