If i talk say i read this post i dey lie to u and God, i wish say i fit read am to know why i must protect my signature ,shey way no dey whia u fit summarize wetin u talk,because honestly i feel i should know these things,abeg where u dey stay sef? The day my own blood brother forged my signature to steal from my mum's own shop was d day I knew I could trust nobody....my saving grace was my previous excellent & hardworking behaviour which made my mum investigate d matter and my innocence was revealed...the signature was d old one I had been using & when he was exposed he just kept quiet even though he had swore earlier on that I was d one who kept the money for the item sold...na from dat day I don dey paranoid...

The best thing is that do not let it happen.HR specialists know how to tag your job hazard as "NOT FIT FOR THE JOB".and even if you are called back and all arrears paid,the moment of no payment could be frustrating.Smith saw hell.The wife gave birth during this time.

Though,he reapplied for Regional Sales Manager after 2years called for interview with just 2people but was not selected because he did not have knowledge of South South.However,he got recommendation from his colleague for another company where he is working now.

Thank God. He learnt a vital lesson the hard way. This happens a lot. One has to be really careful cos when it happens, it is always like a movie scene. You cant be too careful.

I had an instruction passed to me verbally via phone. I went ahead with the assignment, thinking the operations manager had his strategy for giving me such instruction. When an investor got furious with the decision, I was blamed and asked to pay the accrued losses from that particular transaction. I learned quickly.

1. If the company's processes hasn't developed to the standard where such can be checked, learn to protect yourself.
What I did was to get a phone with a call recording feature.

Fast forward to my new company, one of the guys made a judgement call based on personal affiliations and objectives and tried to blame the outcome on me. I quickly brought out evidences of conversation and logs.

Peeps now see me as ITK, but i really don't care. So now they keep convo strictly business. I still don't care, what I have learnt is that friendship and team spirit in the work place is great, but being professional is always the best policy. Don't overlook little things, get your story straight, and always have insurance if you feel instruction is not as it should be. Be wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.

I have learnt that am not responsible for people's opinion of me, all I have learnt to do is keep doing my best, and being professional as much as possible.

We all came to earn a living, I should not be made to pay for another man's indiscretion and greed. I am starting to learn my way around office politics, no matter how one tries, it cannot be totally avoided.
