With less than a week to election, Governor Gabriel Suswam flag-off his senatorial campaign on an unpleasant note.

The governor who chose to commence his campaign in the home of incumbent Senator representing Benue North-West senatorial district, Barnabas Gemade in Konshisha local government, met a brick wall.

As his long convoy traversed through the dusty roads of Korinja, Tse-Agberegba to Awajir, there were chants of APC slogans ‘change’ even as women and little children came out to the road holding brooms and sweeping the ground to Suswam’s disappointment.

All that the governor did throughout the so called campaign was to commission PDP offices and also insult Gemade and the House of Representatives member for Konshisha/Vandeikya Federal Constituency Hon. Herman Hembe while addressing his party supporters.

He told the people to reject their sons, Gemade and Hembe and vote massively for the PDP during the election.
