To insert the unlock code, follow the explanation below.

Use another sim other than the one the modem was registered with. For example, if you're using an MTN usb modem, use another sim like Glo or Etisalat. A window will pop up where you will be able to type the unlock code.

After that, Click on 'Tools', 'Options', 'Profile Management' in that order and then click on 'New' to add the necessary APN, username and password for the sim you want to browse with.

For Glo: APN - gloflat, Username - flat, Password - flat

For MTN: APN - web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net, Username - web, Password - web

For Airtel: APN - internet.ng.airtel.com, Username - internet, Password - internet

For Etisalat: APN - etisalat, Username - etisalat/internet, Password - etisalat/internet
