An uneasy relationship now exists between presidency and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the reason adduced for the adjustment of the general election dates, TheCable understands. http://www.thecable.ng/exclusive-presidency-angry-jega-blaming-poll-shift-security-chiefs

Hear what this bunch of crooks(pdp) are saying. They are now trying to blame jega for changing the dates of the elections when every sane Nigerian knows they(pdp) were behind the polls shift.. Just imagine. The crooks(pdp) were whining about the security situation in the northeast, that elections can't be conducted when some stoopid "special military operation" will be going on in the embattled region. Now hear what they ediots are saying. Gosh this pdp of a _stupid party just have many ways to piss people off. 2 Likes |

No matter how they try hard to convinced me #ihavedecided to vote GMB/PYO. though we were weaken but we will come out stronger. I refuse to back down for the anticipated glory that await my struggle in May 29 2015. Even if they try to blind the air with their fake propaganda against my wish I still use my inner sense to see clearer. #March4GMB. 6 Likes |

Hi. Is there security worries in south Nigeria for general everyday civilians or is that just hyped up. I hear people are reluctant to travel or go out much |

Just like it often happens with rulers who are hellbent on clinging to power by all mischievous means,I think president Jonathan might have miscalculated again. Out of desperation for power,he has shown his hands early and the whole world now knows his game plan.Whatever card he thus seeks to play again,if he has any,is already easily predictable. This move of using the service chiefs and security has already boxed him to a corner. Jega has deftly played the game well by repeatedly stating in the press conference that it was the formal letter from the service chiefs that left the commission with no other choice than to post pone the elections. As the day passes and new insights are revealed of how INEC was blackmailed into shifting the elections and the eyes of the world now firmly focussed on nigeria this coming weeks, all still points to the fact that GEJ might be heading to a disgraceful exit.In the next few weeks and months I see a man who once ruled Nigeria being disgraced at home, embarrassed by our neighbours and ends up becoming a pariah in the western world. 3 Likes |

Jonathan must think everyone is foolish like him. Even a 5 yr old knows it was the fear of defeat at the polls that made him shift elections 2 Likes |

Who do people actually want to win this election? and why - why not. We nigerians overseas are trying to understand and get upto date with our people in Nigeria. I for one don't want to rely on the media for information. I like hearing the real people talking facts. |

Clerverly:U re a very big fool, cant u See JEGA is playing politics. How can he blame the postponement on security reasons alone when it is obvious that INEC under him has been wholesomely inept in the process of conducting the elections.JEGA shld step down immediately or be sacked. It is now obvious that he is acting the script of the APC 1 Like |

if not that the chief of defence staff is as stewpid and clueless as his boss, why did he play into Jega's hands, up to the extent of writing a letter? I expect the mumu to write another letter in 6 weeks time that he can never conquer boko haram awon hoe-low-she!!! 2 Likes |

Jega had 4 years and hundreds of billions of Naira. Funny how APC is not concerned about mostly southerners, still not in possession of their PVCs. (i) Over 25million voters don't have their PVC (ii) Non-guarantee of security (iii) Training manual not ready (iv) Presiding Officers yet to be trained (v) 700,000 ad hoc staff not recruited yet (vi) PVCs still being printed abroad (vii) RECs yet to print Voter Register (viii) Printers for Register still in Abuja (ix) No full complement of ballot boxes (x) Fake printing ink sent to states from headquarters rejected (xi) Many states yet to get balance of Card Readers http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/02/inec-postpones-elections/ 1 Like 1 Share |

If GEJ likes let him spit FIRE. Politics is like a game of chess you make a stewpid move and it's gameover for you. Although I'm angry @ Jega for postponing d election, I have to give him kudos for Pinning the shift solely on GEJ's army. Now the whole world is watching GEJ's army as they try to perform magic in wiping out the BH boys. Another wrong move from GEJ's company was failing to realise that Jega will be around to conduct the presidential election before his 3 months terminal leave which begins march 30th. Another move to make is to sack Jega but that would be too suspicious and risky so they wouldn't try that. Even pressurizing him to resign will be very suspicious as his tenure ending is very near. I expect the intl bodies to start imposing travel sanctions on GEJ and his corrupt cabinet. I would surely like to see the next stewpid move the Politically Dull Party (PDP) will make next join the #General-March4-Buhari (GMB) today. |

It is evident that the season of calumny is here. The orchestration of the ruling government is not only predictable it is a sore cacophony. In days to come Jega would be replaced but the electorate should be ready regardless. The second act would be to request an extension of the voting period to buy the new INEC Chairman time to bed -in. People get ready for its about to go down. |
