Plans by unscrupulous elements to smuggle arms into Jos, Plateau State, was scuttled on Monday when the trailer conveying the arms was intercepted by security officials.

The spokesperson of the Special Taskforce on Jos crisis, STF, Captain Ikedichi Iweha, confirmed the development to journalists.

Op, are u sure...i saw the said trailer on my way to work this morning surrounded by military men, the driver lost control and ran into the base of gada-biu overhead bridge,
They where actually taking the arms to Rukuba baracks...nobody was smuggling anythin
