I read Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s bomber on the Vanguard; ‘Buhari Vs Jonathan’ – Beyond the Elections and it was wowing. Ok, the truth was that I skimmed through, I didn’t have the patience to read over 6,000 words and I’m sure not many people did, perhaps they skimmed through like I did although I recognized the fact that there was a lot of pointers, facts, numbers that the civic need to be aware of. Power is the crux of the matter. A party unable to provide or even improve power situation in 16 years deserves to 'step aside ' for another to try. We cannot wait any longer. We are tired of lame excuses. Power generation is not rocket science. If I as an individual can constantly (except when I run out of fuel ) generate , transmit and distribute 1 KW in my house with 'I better pass my neighbour, the government has no excuse in generating 10,000MW with all the resources available. |
