From Jonathan’s explanation of what he meant by the statement "stealing is not corruption" what he should have actually said and the only explanation he should have given is that stealing is worse than corruption and should be abolished in our society not dabbling around with words! He better get his act up before the sharia advocate buhari catches up with him at the polls!

how is stealing worse than corruption. When you steal, it affects some set of people but when you are corrupt it affects the whole nation.

Stealing is bad but its not worst than corruption and it different from corruption.

Stealing is a branch in corruption.

Corruption is like the head of Medusa and stealing is one of the snake on the head(if you get what I mean) for Instance:

Giving out govt jobs/lands to your friends and cronies is corruption too.(nobody stole anything here)

Bribing your way into a lucrative oil deal is corruption(nobody stole anything here)

When you merit a job or award and they deny you the stuff just to give it to someone that doesn't merit it is corruption.

The old military chiefs going to their villages with trucks packing all the youths into Nigerian army where as the youth in south are are being screened out like tomorrow no dey is corruption.

The kids in the south having higher score in common entrance exams and still wind get admission where the kids in the north don't even need to write the exam is corruption.

Man know Man is corruption.

Know when you hear some director or DG stole millions of naira you have to know that he can't do it alone, one director or perm sec can eat 1billion alone and go scot free anywhere, believe me there a people behind the scene, people involved, people that facilitated the fraud, people that will have there share of the loot, people that will cover the front man from persercution, all these chains of people and their activities is what Corruption is all about.

The issue is that GEJ should have shut his mouth and say another thing, that statement coming from a Nigerian president is the problem not that what he said is a lie or sin.

My opinion tho.
