[size=14pt]Please guys kindly give me the step-by-step procedures on how to turn on my SYSTEM RESTORE. I don't know how it got disabled and l have tried my best to turn it on but my effort is in vain. l use WINDOW XP2.

I thought restoring your system was a deliberate, not automated.

FOR VISTA
go to control panel, double click system
In the left pane, click System Protection.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To turn on System Protection for a hard disk, select the check box next to the disk, and then click OK.
– or –
To turn off System Protection for a hard disk, clear the check box next to the disk, and then click OK.

Thanks for your help but I could not turn it on again and the OS l use for my computer is Service Pack 2. Find below the information displayed when l clicked on system retore. It reads " SYSTEM RESTORE HAS BEEN TURNED OFF BY GROUP POLICY. CONTACT YOUR DOMAIN ADMINISTRATOR"[/size]

or in this case better still go to help and support on the start menu and type in system restore
