Well, for me o, I would say u should leave a contract job and move to a more stable job, AB is a loan company and giving out loans is kinda smooth..u have a bonus that you'll earn at the end of each month on your loan disbursed. It's better than a commercial bank where your are on Contract. 70k Normal staff is better 50k Contract staff...my 2cents

Everybody is saying diamond but like I read the diamond is as a contract staff and those are usually of 2 yrs duration; renewable. Try to confirm the possibility of a renewal after 2 yrs with diamond then continue if good!

If by Biometric staff you mean the BVN registration, then you should know that it has a time frame... I suspect Banks will lay off most of the Biometric officers. I think you should consider that when making your decision.

Abeg stay with Diamond Bank. Targets are good but in our financial institutions in Nigeria they give the word "Target" a different meaning.

Getting involved with something new could be termed as stressful but with time it gets better. money is also a consideration.

#1 increase in salary is better than no increment at all.

And here I am thinking the 50k+ I make in two weeks being self employed is too small

Anyway, @Op, a work that gives you less stree gives you more freedom to make critical thinking and decisions. So if I were you, na Diamond. But then, I'm not you.

Stress+target+stable staff=-70k

Less stress+ no target + higher career path=50k

20k difference isn't worth it..........

It depends, if you are using the time to do something meaningful, e.g using for extra job, don't cross to another. If you are using it to sleep, dress up and take the job. Saving 20k for a year is 240,000, which you can use to start a little business. If wife and children come into the picture, I'm sure you will go for it, even if its N500.

The pay for diamond is 50k while that of AB is 70k. The diamond work come wit no stress while the AB micro finance is loaded wit stress and the threat to meet target. Pls give me your good advice my dear brothers.

Eh Eh! Life is all about risks man! You stay at Diamond, that's a risk. You move to Microfinance that's another risk. The question is which risk is better?

I know you don't want to leave your comfort zone but to be sincere the Microfinance doesn't sound bad. Remember your contract with Diamond bank will end sometime.

Stick with diamond for now,bc when u are being placed on target, u will never av ur peace until u meet dt target.I can confidently tell u dt bc at a time i had dis bank job as a marketer and i was placed on a very huge target,i was very happy then not knowing what i was getting myself into.In d morning bf we leave the office for marketing, my manager will tell us dt she dont care to knw whatever we do but we shld nt come back empty handed,To cut a long story short i had to resign frm d job bc d pressure was becoming too much.
