raumdeuter:Of course only this is minute but have you checked the agricultural aspect of this country and ask most Agriculture graduates who know what they studied and use the internet for searching and unveiling opportunities than ping, whatsapp etc and you will know that there has been great jobs and employment in this aspect of the economy. In real sense this is what we want; diversification in the economy. Have you asked yourself why Dollar hasn't done so well against Naira in this time of insurgent apart from the global oil drop which is part of USA plan to punish Russian also affecting Nigeria, Venezuela and Lybia so they get cheaper oil from Saudi? It's because of the diversification into the Agriculture sector and that's why CNN see nigeria economy as one of the fastest growing in the world, precisely 3rd. When it comes to development, Power is very vital and can turn a country to be on the rapid growth but somethings come first which will help spring power and they are this agriculture and industrialisation which he has done well. Something people don't know is that it will take years if not decades to achieve adequate power in this country because many just see it as a little project but truly, it's a massive-enormous one. If your local industries don't grow do you think the power will be a good business for anyone even the government to invest in, the foreigners will come and kill your local and infant industries just as Nigeria and other expertise companies are struggling to catch up with MTN(south Africa Company). The advantages of power(to whom much is given, much is expected) is great but it has steps. And don't forget that the tarrif you pay now will be no money when it comes because even at government subsidy in power it will still be too expensive... Ask you pals or family members abroad they will tell you more here. Goodluck is no saint but we need a leader with vision which he has more than his competitors but that doesn't mean He's an automatic winner come the 2015 election if there be because God gives Power and He alone knows who it will be but He has great vision for the Nigeria state, his mother land. Hope you guys haven't forgotten that the rehab of the rail is also part of the removed subsidy? MATTERS ABOUT THE INSURGENCE When someone calls himself born to rule and me born to fellow don't you see desperation in his acts? This insurgent started when only the Southerners were killed whenever they want and only churches were set ablaze and they are happy rejoicing and never did they condemned it and now it has grown with absolute power (which corrupts) killing their people too, the law of Karma. OPC started and the elders and western stakeholder stopped it because they want a peaceful coexistence. Militants started in south-South and it was also stopped through the help of the elders and stakeholders with foreign organizations because they suffered it more because they wanted an end in it. Why then won't that of the North stop when the elders are running away because the incited and started the chaotic act, who is deceiving who? If the president declares war to part of the countries where this act has been going on do you think the elders and the people will applaud him for this, they will even accuse him of trying to wipe their tribe off the face of earth because he is a Southerner or will sue him, so he has to thread with caution? Do you know the USA government gained less from the Nigeria economy after China and Russia because they are part of our problem and that our investment is planned to be in chinese RMB and they are causing chaos knowing that it is also affecting their economy, the value of dollar against Naira? Pls Nigerians, let's think Former President OBJ siphoned $15billion on power and no one accuses him but he has fans who see him as god in Nigeria. If you are wise and have watched an America series, The Game of Thrones then you will see that the good or better leaders are been stoned to death by masses as a result of what the other politicians want. Nigeria can Never Retardate because we are too loaded to move back and Nigeria is no one's country because if the mass say we don't want our president, GEJ he will leave for us for some other we voted. But please, let's analyse and discover before we chant and don't be propelled by anyone or hatred. God bless my Motherland, Nigeria! 2 Likes 1 Share |

All this APC people do they have problems with simple Arithmetic. Yar Adua died in May 2010 and GEJ took over in May 2010. It is actually 4 years and 8 months since he took over but for sensational reasons APC propaganda keeps stating 6 years. In case all of you have lost your certificates like GMB, call a primary 3 pupil to calculate the difference between May 2010 and Feb. 2015 3 Likes |

some times we forget so soon that in Nigerian we have three level of government Federal, State and Local. Each of this has their budget which they present for approval. If for instance, federal government executed a particular project and the other levels did same. how do you think a common Nigerian we know which of the level of government executed which and which. as for me I see nothing wrong in advertising what ever each of the level of government has done for the country. this help a common Nigerian to know who and who executed a particular project. |

Electricity has failed woefully in Nigeria despite all the guarantee we hear from government and so called stake-holders. No thanks to the high cost of monthly billings Unemployment margin had reached an unprecedented height and government wickedly remain silent about it With these societal ills and lots more, tell me why we should vote for a regime that doesn't care about us? |

Why should any government advertise doing their legitimate job in the first place? The reason is simple; in Nigeria we consider it a great privilege for someone to do that which is his lawful obligation! Just imagine u taking to newspaper pages to tell the world that u washed ur clothes or swept ur apartment clean and expecting us to applaud u for cleaning ur house is it not what u should do? It Is crazy!!! If I compliment u its just for the sake of it not because u have done something extra ordinary for Heavens sake that is ur JOB! |

I find Osibanjo's utterance truly funny. In case he has forgotten, this is an election season, so there's absolutely nothing wrong if the ruling party showcases its score card to electorate so that they can judge the performance of the FG/PDP. And while he's at it, when will his party stop with the ceaseless criticisms and proffer detailed solutions instead of that sorry joke of a manifesto? Jokers. |

cbrass: I don't care about this person, don't know him or his track record and frankly I don't care enough. But if you're a Nigerian of voting age, of any party membership, and you don't understand and agree with his comment then your citizenship should be stripped off of you and you're air dropped to the middle of the Sahara desert to die like the humanoid waste that you are. Done. |
