Ajax targets Kanu, as Agbonlahor trains under Michael Johnson

SUPER Eagles' captain, Nwankwo Kanu, may be on his way back to Holland following shocking news that Ajax Amsterdam plans to lure him back to the Amsterdam Arena.





And report from Villa Park reveals that Gabriel Agbonlahor has the chance to take his speed levels to another height in the coming weeks, as he has been lined up for training under American athletics legend, Michael Johnson.

In one of the most unexpected transfer reports of the current winter market, the lords of Ajax have sensationally declared that one of their priorities this term is hooking Kanu on a return to his glorious hunting ground of the early 90s. To this end, Kanu has been linked with a shock transfer window move back to the Eredivisie club, where he previously had a spell before joining Inter Milan of Italy, then Arsenal.

Gabby is set to enjoy the rare training opportunity after Johnson, who won four Olympic gold medals over 200 and 400 metres, convinced Aston Villa's boss, Martin O'Neill, that he could inject even more pace into his two fleet-footed fliers with drills at his summer sprint academy in his hometown, Dallas.

"Both have speed which helps them stand out from the rest on the field. But they can still improve by a significant margin," Johnson said about Gabby and Young.
