BUHARI'S SURPRISE VISIT TO CHIBOK-Via Ayama A Ayama

The JTF Commanders on ground were reported to have been taken by surprise and shocked at Buhari's daring request to proceed to Chibok immediately after the rally and refused to provide him security cover until they received a clearance from their superiors in Abuja.

GMB left for Chibok inspite of their refusal to go along with him and was moved when he came out and saw the thousands of Civilian JTF members who had volunteered to provide security for him,the Borno Governor and their entourage to and from Chibok Town, and off they went.

The people and parents of Chibok were filled with hope and joy upon sighting Buhari and his entourage, and escorted him into Chibok with singing and dancing.

After he addressed the people and parents of the girls,a pastor offered prayers for the safe return of Buhari and his entourage back home and for his victory at the polls.

The villagers got emotional and some of them started weeping when the General was getting set to depart for Maiduguri later in the night !

I won't even ask for the 'sauce', anything is possible in the janja.weeed infested media.

Boko haram will never attack Buhari even if he goes to chibok alone, they can never attack their patron. Yeye dey smell

If this report is confirmed to be true, It galvanize me more to believe in the character, selflessness and brazen show of strength and non cowardice of Buhari and the true spirit of the training he received as a soldier.

He has said he's going to lead from the front and this act shows more than ever that he is a MAN OF HIS WORDS not a chicken livered idiot and never a COWARD.

Reading this brought me close to tears and how blessed Nigeria is to have this man as an alternative in our quest for true nationhood.

This is courage and selflessness at its very peak. Kudos to GMB for having the rear courage to embark on such a dangerous but inspirational journey. It also shows clearly that a GMB presidency will never concede a single part of Nigeria to terrorists. GEJ should grow some balls and take a cue from the people's general. The chibok girls shall be found, Boko haram will be defeated and Nigeria will survive.

Am surprised pics of the visit are not yet out. This was yesterday and its the most daring visit ever by a Nigerian leader in any capacity to chibok .
The appropriate title for this news should be:
'Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari visits Chibok while opposition candidate Goodluck Jonathan ,rules out ever visiting Chibok'.

He may be a leader but who/what is he leading is the real question.
Perhaps we can get some useful insight for a response from these excerpts:

Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram

Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.

Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government.

Going by ur warped reasoning, buhari u claimed is the leader of boko haram yet we have a fool who is the c in c in aso rock who has deemed it fit not to arrest or even question him for once therby allowing thousands of innocent country men of his to perish.
By the way, was it not ur god that claimed evil boko members as his brothers and sisters?

I’ll meet other generals to draft anti-terror plan – Buhari

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Wednesday said that though Nigeria is a rich nation, its people are extremely poor due to bad governance.

He also promised to involve serving and retired military generals to devise an effective strategy to crush insurgency in the country, if elected as President in 2015.

Will the following news "galvanize YOU more to believe in the character, selflessness and brazen show of strength and non cowardice of" Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan

manchy7531:
Nnamdi Emmanuel:

On June 28 2007, Vice President Goodluck Jonathan placed his life on the line, by travelling to Okerenko, visiting the notorious Camp five, where he held a seven hours meeting with all the leaders of the militant camps in the Niger Delta. He made the trip without a single security detail. The whole world stood still. For seven hours he was incommunicado. Global leaders feared the worst. He emerged from the creeks later, shaken but resolute. He came out of those creeks with a commitment from the militants and the Niger Delta disarmament program was borne. Normalcy returned in the region. The bloodletting ceased. Oil production tripled and the government could breath again. In 2012, the leadership of Jama’atul Ahlis Sunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad aka Boko Haram named General Buhari as the number one mediator they will listen to for peace to reign in the north east. The spokesman of the group, Abu Mohammed Ibn Abdulazeez, who doubles as the Second-in-Comma nd (Amir) to their leader, Imam Abubakar Shekau, made the group’s intention known in a tele-conference with journalists in Maiduguri. General Buhari declined the offer.

If Buhari truly loves this country, he would have taken that offer. But NO. That would have been a victory for the Jonathan government . So he declined the offer, rather promising to end the insurgency when he becomes President. Does this man deserve our vote? I don't think so. If we have to elect you as President before you assist the government in quelling an insurrection in your region, who will help us quell the crises if it erupts in other region. Be wise. Stick with facts. A vote for Buhari is a cowering to the dictates of terror. A vote for Buhari is a submission to hand over your mandate by the dictates of guns and blood. Vote President Jonathan . We will surely win the war against terror and secure our future. God bless Nigeria

Re: Gmb Visit Chibok by pheliciti: 4:18pm On Feb 17, 2015
The General did not visit Chibok yesterday although there are plans to do do. If you study him carefully, you would understand that even if he did, he would have done so quietly without making it a political issue. Also, a visit to Chibok yesterday would be like playing hero and risking a lot of lives. It's not GMB's style to play to the gallery.
Re: Gmb Visit Chibok by doctokwus: 4:28pm On Feb 17, 2015
Campaign team has denied it.
Pls you people shd verify stories b4 creating threads for it.Buhari has built an image based on his integrity, no one shd tarnish it for him.
