Welcome development. This conspiracy must be unveiled. The postponement was a slap on the face of Nigerians and we must get to the root of the matter. I trust Senator Akume on this one.

Our military have become partisan. So sad we are where we are today. Surely, God will see us through this challenging period.

Dear senators,

Please leave the elections alone and focus on passing the budget and PIB.

Thanks...

Thank you.

They should pass the PIB into Law.

Even with over 800,000 PVCs still to be printed as at 18/02/2015? That's what Jega admitted to senators yesterday.

How can you conduct credible elections with so many cards not yet printed and millions not distributed? Haba!

That would have plunged Nigeria into another avoidable crisis.

Those service chiefs with pot-bellies or which ones? they might be dozing off during questioning. Any nation with our present service chiefs is in trouble. Chad is doing better job destroying boko haram than our military. "... The offensive deep inside Nigerian territory ..."

Ngwakwe:
Do we still need the military after the courts have pronounced their involvement in the election matters illegal and consequently the APC has written Jega and sent a copy to the President to abide by the subsisting judgements?

Is the minority leader acting against his party's interest?

so you can be so courageous to go to the field as an adhoc staff without security? 2011 general election violence Where numbers of corpers loose their life to the terror of political thugs, that been said.

Re: Senate Summons Service Chiefs Over Election Postponement by hermeskirs: 8:27pm On Feb 19, 2015
What's the problem of APC for using military during the election? They are not going to be close to the polling units but patrolling around the town/villages to ensure security. Can election hold in Borno, Adamawa or Yobe without the military providing adequate security there?
We shouldn't deceive ourselves with the games of APC, they used the military during Edo, Ondo, Ekiti and Osun election but APC only complained about Ekiti election they lost.
Let's be reality. Nigeria will move forward
The Senate should find a better thing to do, they have 2015 appropriation bill, PIB, immigration report and many outstanding reports.. Lazy animals...
