Arsenal are eyeing up a Jackson Martinez of Porto this
summer as their big-money capture of 2015, the Metro
claim.
The Gunners have agreed a big-money capture in each of
the last two summer transfer windows, with Mesut Ozil
and Alexi Sanchez having arrived from Real Madrid and
Barcelona, and are now eyeing the Colombian striker as
their 2015 marquee signing.
Martinez has been a constant goal-threat for the
Portuguese side since his move in 2012 from Jaguares in
Colombia, and has scored 62 league goals in his 80
appearances for the club so far, including 16 in his 21
this season.
The striker has been linked with Chelsea, Liverpool and
Arsenal in recent seasons, and is now being touted as the
latter’s number one target for the close-season.
The North-Londoners are also linked with a move for
Palermo’s Paulo Dybala, who is also expected to be
available for £29.5 Million in the summer, with Juventus,
Manchester United and Chelsea also interested.
