And what makes you think Obama will give a Bleep about Nigeria, when Buhari becomes President? Or will Buhari sign the purported same sex right into law? From the look of things I think Buhari has sold out to the Satanic West. Next year, by this time Nigerians will be suffering untold economic hardship never experience before in the history of this country. Buhari and GEJ are two sides of the same coin. All are puppets of the West. So, I don't see anything changing in the status quo.

Buhari has sold out to NOBODY. The Obama regime has redefined its strategic focus and it will happen irrespective of who is in government. Jonathan's government has never opposed the west. On the issue of gay rights that most people talk about, Buhari is more strongly against it than Jonathan. Obasanjo, Jonathan's enemy opposes it everywhere. Nigerians don't want it and no government will do it.
Please stop making excuses for FAILURE of leadership and weak leadership by Jonathan's government. The government shows weakness in everything and people disrespect them and the country as a comsequence. There are no gay rights in Saudi, UAE and China and the west still respects them.

Very depressing to say the least. I feel they shouldave at least pretended to make some effort at their prosecution then perhaps make it stall till eternity, but nay! Not even as much as a simple finger wagging reprimand over their shameful misadventure in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I feel they should have at least made them go through a bit of what DSK and Rupert Mordork were subjected to, even if it wasn't at the Hague. All those stage managed hearings and inquiries are at best a perversion of common sense and logic.

Both Dominique Strauss-Kahn and Rupert Murdoch were reprimanded in the open cos they were trying to disrupt the game-plan. However, the both of them got the message, and the "olive branch" was extended to them. Hence they were never prosecuted for anything, apart from the shebang in the media.

As for Dubya and Blair, both invasions were part of a major plan, in the grand scheme of things - not something they did individually...but the execution on their part was poor. Prosecuting them might open the pandora's box. Obama and Cameron followed the same path/plan, but the execution has been a tad bit better thus far.

Regardless, they have been judged by the court of public opinion and the people. Hence Tony Blair could move from the most adored PM ever that isn't Winston Churchill to the most hated. Ditto Dubya in America. And they'll both be remembered for those wars, despite how great Tony Blair was as a PM.

I like Buhari style die. He is using one stone to kill two birds. He a taken a time out of hospital bed to visit Tony Blair so as to prove a point and debunk his opened secret of his concealed poor state of health.
Pls make haste and go back to the hospital bed for proper care.

The International community had clearly abandoned Nigeria to its vicissitudes because they were wary of our rudderless administration and its inability to manage its own internal affairs. However, they have recognised the sterling qualities of General Buhari and anticipate the positive contributions he will bring to the table, which is indicative by his efforts to consult with strategic international stakeholders, which will inform a robust foreign policy.

Sterling what
Are you talking about this same Buhari =>

Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram

Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.

Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government.

Let's assume GMB have gone for medical treatment, what is wrong in a man of 72 years going for medical checkup overseas when nearly all government hospitals in Nigeria are in comatose due to mismanagement ?

Was Jonathan ( a younger man ) not placed on admission in a German hospital after he complained of abdominal pain caused by excessive intake of alcohol called kain-kain ?

Does it mean that a man of 72 on medical checkup would die before a man of 54( like Ayo Fayose ) who thinks he's very ok healthwise ?

Kindly ignore the PDP propaganda on Buhari . They have looted the resources of the masses so much to an extent that they fear Buhari would execute them by firing squad if allowed to come to power .

Always remember that our economy is sick :
Unemployment amongst youth is over 60%
Inequality is on the rise and probably the worst in the world according to the World Bank .
Increase in infrastructure decay in on daily basis .
Poverty on the rise
No more manufacturing companies, we import nearly everything .
Exchange rate of naira to dollars is now 225 and to UK pounds is 320.
In spite of the above, Jonathan and his cronies are performing various miracles . As Jesus turned water into wine, Jonathan turned drinking alcohol to water ; his several cronies also turned private jets into taxi.
Nigeria's problem is less ethnic or religious, kindly blame nearly everything on wasteful and extravagant leadership .

What happened to Cameron, couldn't he get an appointment undecided

He should do well to swallow his mangled pride and check himself out.

He looks gaunt.
The degree of mumu.ness you see here na n factorial!

Assuming this picture is authentic, so does Buhari's meeting with Tony Blair who left office some ten years ago signifies that he is now the President in waiting? The last I checked the PM is one dude called David Cameron.

BTW, how does a chanced meeting with Mr Blair contradict the assumption that Buhari went to the UK for a medical check-up?

Why are APC people needlessly making this whole matter a big deal? Why not come out clean that Buhari went for a brief medical trip but also hint that he would be meeting with some leaders during the itinerary?

The more APC and their people attempt to paper over the cracks, the more they unwittingly make this whole issue more topical.
