The Comptroller of Prisons in Cross River, Mr Clement Udosen, has confirmed that some inmates at Afokang Prison in Calabar South Local Government Area, on Friday attempted jailbreak.Udosen told newsmen in Calabar that the inmates overpowered some prison guards, seized their rifles, fired shots and injured some of the guards.
