Lots of people will answer in the affirmative, but please hear the reason for my question. Am going to make reference to two incidents in the Bible, Mark 5:19 and Mathew 8:4.

In the first instance (Mark 5:1-19), Jesus Christ healed a man that was possessed by evil spirits and in the end instructed the man to go tell his family and friends what God had done for him.

In the other account (Mathew 8:1-4), Jesus Christ healed a man with leprosy and instructed him to go and tell noone but show himself to the priests and perform the rites commanded by Moses.

Following these two accounts, is it then proper for us to testify of all good things done to us by God or are there reservations? In other words, are there instances where we should enjoy our blessings in silence instead of announcing it to others?

Pastors and bible scholars in the house please share your thoughts.
