As PDP confronts the reality of becoming the Main Opposition Party in Nigeria, what are the likely things we will be expecting?

Will they follow the path of civility, suggesting alternative ideas, constructive criticisms of APC led FG? Or are they going to be undermining, jesting, mock, and make a clown of what is left of the PDP?

There is also another school of thought, that immediately APC led administration kicks off, while some PDP members may decamp to APC, other may form another Political platform.

So what type of an opposition party do you think PDP will be?

As the new opposition party, they'll change their name, symbol and tactics so as to become a little bit appealing to Nigerians and beg for forgiveness.
Since they know they had a bad record at the federal level(they destroyed Nigeria for 16 years) , they wont make a good opposition. Infact, pdp might cease to exist after this election.

@Bold: that is very possible too. Many of them are not in PDP and politics for ideological reasons. The may just abandon the wreckage once it is up in flames. Though there are those who may decide whatever is left of it.

You are loosing touch with reality. APC members are Nigerians and those who will support and vote APC are Nigerians. There is no segregation or discrimination at all.

And if you are expecting APC to go and get members for their party from China of another planet, then you illness is no acute that the symptoms indicate.

Only Nigerians can fix what is wrong with Nigeria. The years under the leadership of PDP has been poverty developmental era and the last 5yrs has been a very sad one.

I don't think the party will survive at all. The few governors that would win under the party will eventually decamp and a lot of elders will go on exile, including Fayose. They would run even when no one is chasing them.

The party will simply desolve and APGA will grow stronger to become the main opposition party. Obiano has been acting pretty mature carving an appealing image of himself.
