Network Administrator

Job description
• Systems Administrator (Security) will be responsible for implementing and supporting security systems that will provide detection, prevention, containment, and deterrence mechanisms to protect and maintain the integrity of data files in line with the organization’s security policy.
• Implement, maintain and oversee enforcement of policies and associated plans for system security administration, and user system access based on industry-standard best practices
• Monitor reports, systems, logs and alerts for suspicious activity on the enterprise and recommend ways to control and reduce risk
• Seeks avenues to further integrate security into application and solution designs in line with best practices
• Lead in diagnosing current digital threats; refines and implements IT data security plan according to established timelines
• Drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT security solutions including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Establishes, maintains and corrects access rules across all IT systems and network infrastructure
• Evaluates information risk and potential vulnerabilities on a regular time schedule and works with the Productivity coaches to promote information security awareness through user training and education
• Collaborate with other administrators’ staff in the evaluation of new software and hardware systems, particularly as they relate to security
• Support the Service Delivery Manager in developing, reviewing and implementing policies, standards and procedures to ensure the integrity and safety of information
• Provides recommendations on mitigating or removing vulnerabilities within IT systems, while administering enterprise security solutions
• Develops guidelines and reports on the usage, control, maintenance and auditing of information and computing infrastructure
• Conducts vulnerability assessments and implement remediation to improve security standards and procedures within the organization that support strategic, tactical and operational objectives
• Ensures network (telecommunications, local and voice) security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification or destruction
• Educates, trains, and supports end-users and IT staff members on gaining security practice and procedure knowledge on areas including, enterprise platforms and evolving threats
• Develops and maintains communications with the disaster recovery planning group to ensure that disaster recovery plans adequately reflect the needs of the systems under the administrator's responsibility
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by Service Delivery Manager

MAIN ACTIVITIES
• To manage and maintain all workstations: heterogeneous Linux environment (mainly Fedora) / Windows and interfaces with other servers (Linux / FreeBSD )
• To put in place means and procedures for ensuring performance and system availability.
• To administer, maintain and upgrade computer hardware and update software.
• To manage the institution interconnection with external networks
• To define network expansion and modification projects
• To design and deploy software tools for an effective system administration (especially Shell scripts/Perl and Standard Open Source Tools), including the network performance and security dashboards
• To apply security standards
• To ensure technology scouting
• To participate in Forums & Networking workshops, in collaboration with the Horus support unit based in Accra

SECONDARY ACTIVITIES
• To train, advise and assist users.
• To assist the IT Manager in negotiating with IT equipment suppliers
• To lead and coordinate the activities of a technical team

Administrative Officer
Job summary:
Administration Officer will be responsible for various administrative duties throughout the office including recruitment, mobilization, welfare, strategic planning and training, and general administration.


Responsibilities:
• Will assist in organizing the Admin department with overall responsibility of developing and managing the human resources of the organization including project staff.
• To assist in translating the organization strategy and goals into an HR strategy and providing leadership for HR management related learning and development.

Account Officer
Overview
The accounts officer shall report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for processing payment documentations with the client, handle petty cash and banking transactions; produce daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as may be required by his/her immediate bosses and/or management.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyzing of Payment/petty cash vouchers.
• Posting all the transactions to their various ledgers

Job Purpose:

• Conducts maintenance of RCD/MFC control systems equipment at job site and workshop.
• Has strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge that allows the RCD/MFC Control Systems Specialist to troubleshoot wellsite equipment failures
• Is responsible for own continuous development to become capable to run the service in difficult and non-routine environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Equipment rig-up and rig-down on each well.
• Perform various duties around the managed pressure drilling choke manifold, data acquisitions system, rotating control head, separation equipment, fluid handling and transfer systems, ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with the safety precautions and practices.
• Operate and Monitor rotating control head, choke manifold and separation system, with sampling and manual data recording.
• Perform maintenance and system checks at the well site.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting in case of equipment failure.
• To advise and assist the Supervisor with any pre-activity safety meeting action points that should be discussed
• To fully learn and ensure the compliance of, and the implementation, of all QHSE procedures during the operational activity
• Responsible for QHSE procedures and documentation on site for specific shift.
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner while on or off the rig site
• The job requires direct contact with the other crew members and Customer Representatives as well as other Services on location.
• Perform green tag procedures in the workshop or the field.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance as per the checklist.
