Why is it that none of the victorious U17 players currently in U20 team is in any foreign team's roster except Isaac Success that plays for Granada CF? Name them: Iheanacho, Yahaya, Eze, Awoniyi, Alampasu, Nwakali etc. |

They are not even listed in the reserves or youth teams. |

It's not about the calibre of the club that ones play for but about the talent, okay? I don't care if they were all home based so far as they deliver as a team and make the country proud at international tournaments. The Egyptian national team that won Afcon thrice in a row were all home based, remember? Besides, I strongly believe the key members of the flying eagles squad would get maximum exposure they deserve at the world youth championship (if they qualify of course). |
