Hello nairalanders,

Today is my birthday.
I woke up today like any other day but had my mind full of joy coz i just added a year to my years. Its such a wonderful feeling. I woke up with a lot of expectations, like hugs, prayers from parent, text from my girlfriend and friends, but no one seemed to care. It was just like a normal morning. Yinka do this, do that, it was so out of it. I was it wasnt my birthday morning. I waited for hours at home to see if anyone would remember my D-day, not even my neighbours cared.
Around 5pm, Bolanle, my neighbour's daughter, who i have crush on lately, came to me and said 'happy birthday'. Wow, i was so happy atleast someone remembered. She wispered into my hears that shes all alone at home and she has surprise for me. I tought what an average naija guy would think. I belived she wanted to give me all she gat, like seriously, my compass started facing the east. I followed her like a puppy to thier sitting room, she locked the door, rubbed my head and told me with a bedroom voice 'wait for me lemme take a shower, i gat a big surprise for you'. This time i was totally out of this world. She left and after 4minutes, she came out with my parents, her parents and other neighbours, my girlfriend, my friends both male and female, and other well wishers, with a cake, and they all shouted 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY YINKA'. And i was already on the couch NAKED waiting 4 bolanle.
