Despite being prosecuted for graft, Fani-Kayode arrives court with armed police escorts

[b]A former Nigerian Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, arrived the premises of the Federal High Court in Lagos, Wednesday, accompanied by a contingent of armed police officers, despite being under prosecution by the federal government for money laundering.
The former minister is facing a two-count charge of money laundering before Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia.
He was recently appointed the Director of Media and Publicity of the Goodluck/Sambo Presidential Campaign Organization. Although he serves on the president’s campaign team, Mr. Fani-Kayode is currently not recognised as a public official by Nigerian laws.
Unlike in the past when, as a member of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, he made his court appearances virtually unaccompanied; Mr. Fani-Kayode now arrives the court premises accompanied by armed police officers and State Security Services, SSS, officers.
On Wednesday, half a dozen armed police officers leapt out of a trailing patrol van as Mr. Fani-Kayode arrived the court premises, with one hurrying to open his car door.[/b]

How do you successfully prosecute criminals with the knowledge that they are your Oga's friend and your oga even gave them official armed police escorts and trappings of non existing office at the taxpayers expense...

Light situation here is still the same, my generator steams every night, it has been on almost every night since last year, my useless governor hasn't paid January salaries and it's almost the end of February. My friend in River State University of Science and Tech. has been paid by the same Amaechi who some fools claim doesn't pay salaries or has used state money for campaign. My friend might even collect his February salary without me collecting January salary yet a fool expects me to vote PDP? Some people are cursed.

FFK had been fearless even when he was in APC and has talked tough to GEJ regardless of his pending court case. It has been so difficult for EFCC and the court to convict FFK probably because the allegation are baseless and he remains innocent man and honorable as a former minister of the federal republic of Nigeria.
