The body language of the president is very clear on this one. The once reliable Jega under whose tenure he won the 2010 election, won ekiti gubernatorial, had his preferred candidate win in Anambra, won various senatorial and house of rep bye election seem to have become too independent for GEJ's liking. All options even if it means illegality or defeats common sense are being weighed as we speak to either force him out or remove him. Immediately following that will be the instalment of a stooge who they can call as the results are coming out and dictate to him the exact figure they want. The first responsibility of the stooge will be to say that INEC will not be using the card reader using any flimsy excuse in the textbook and then pave way for the rigging machinery PDP has developed over the years. Immediately after the rigging, soldiers will be deployed to trouble spots to coerce those who would have contemplated reacting. However, the recent of events at bokinafaso, Algeria, Egypt and ivory coast is what is stalling this move at the moment. All options both legal and illegal are still being explored including framing Jega up. 1 Like |
