Jezz!!!! 2005. Reminds me of my mum's present glo sim, from 2002. Without welcome back. And my dad has being using the same number from 2000. Though he has welcomed the sim back several times because of lost phones.

Since 2000? When GSM had not even commenced operations yet in Nigeria.

FYI, GSM commenced operations in Nigeria in 2001!
For those claiming they have been using their SIM cards for upwards of 8 years, I doubt it cos from the little knowledge and experience I have, SIM cards do expire.

I had an MTN SIM that I used for many years without losing the SIM for once.

All of a sudden, I noticed it stopped working abruptly and when I complained to the customer care, I was told to do a welcome back that the SIM had expired which surprised.

I did a welcomed back and the line started working back. Based on my own experience, I doubt some of the things am reading.

Was bought April 2004, almost 11yers now. When MTN was using CD pack as simple pack. Quite old.

13 years old since 31 Dec 2001. Econet wireless inspired to change your world.

10 years. Vmobile sim bought in 2005.

My MTN sim suppose to complete 11yrs last month which is February but because of their Fuckup, I ported to glo last year.
