Units Of One Bedroom Terrace Bungalow As Investment. Good Or Bad Idea ? by ibl0010: 5:02pm On Mar 01, 2015
Hi, good people.

I am toying with some idea in my head of what to do with savings that is not getting much interest from the bank. The idea is to build units of one bedroom terrace bungalow in ibadan (to be sold off or rented out) on a plot of land. This is why I am doing a bit of research to see if my idea is feasible or not. What I would like to know:

1. How many units one bedroom can be fitted on a terrace bungalow using a plot of land?
2. How much would it using to each one bedroom unit on a terrace bungalow?
3. How much on average can one bedroom unit be rented or sold for in ibadan ?
4. Are one bedroom accommodation sort after as residential living ?

P.S please post here if any one has design of units of terrace bungalow

Many thanks in advance.

I can't answer your specific questions but I can tell you this.

I did some calculations and I came to the quick conclusion that I would need quite a bit of units to make renting worthwhile in Ibadan.

I do accept that it will depend on the area.

I think a mix would you do you better. For example, 3 two bedrooms on the 1st floor, 2 three bedrooms on the 2nd floor or something similar.

Good luck.
