Hello all, I applied for a visa using Intown Suite for accommodation and Dr Glenn. I got my visa but now I want to stay at my husband's relative's house and use Dr Fagbohun. Is this going to be a problem? DO I need to notify the embassy? Both Drs are in Houston so my destination is still the same. Please I really need help as I am travelling next month. |

My Pple I have arrived. I finally bought another ticket & flew United at 35 weeks after my crazy ordeal with Qatar Airways Qatar airways is a NO NO for preggy mamas except you're traveling before the 32nd week. Between 32-35 week call and get all the info at least a week to your travel date to avoid stories that touch like in my case. Their wahala is too much abeg & the stress They put me through no be here. And forget their website too, they don't follow it. My POE was Houston after trying to avoid that place like a plague. Houston POE CBP: hello Me: good morning Collects passport CBP: What are you here for? Me: vacation and childbirth CBP: why do you want to have your baby here? Me: better health care ( me sef know say no be am, but I can't say it's for the blue Pali na) CBP: smiles..better health care? Or you want your baby to be a U.S Citizen Me: smiling..and that too. CBP: if they change the laws will you still travel all the way to have your baby? Me: yes, can't compare healthcare here and back home. CBP: did you accept any form of financial assistance for your first?( referring to my first baby) Me: no, I paid all my bills CBP: do you have your receipts? Me: yes Takes my biometric data and sends me to secondary inspection. So there were so many pple at secondary inspection including four other preggy mamas, had to wait almost two hours for my turn. Secondary inspection CBP: do you have any paper work from your first birth? Me: yes ( gave him all my receipts, he goes through it and hands it back) CBP: how much do you have? Me: $5.5k and my cards. CBP: (asks me to wait 5min says he needs to enter the info. 2min later, calls me back and hands my passport back to me) Have a good day. ( I was stamped in for 6months) Missed my flight to philly, had to wait 4hours for the next one. Resting wella now. To those going for second missionary journey. Make sure you're not owing a dime. And traveling with a toddler ain't fun at all..As God would have it, I had empty seats next to mine on both flights. Couldn't have imagined carrying her all through. Thank God for His Mercies. 4 Likes |

Congrats Beryl15. How come you were able to fly united at 35 weeks, what was the experience like? Did you declare that you were that far gone? I ask because I was almost going to fly them until they said their restriction is also from 32 weeks - and traveling that early will never work for me. |

myelle: I really don't see any point to your answer here. The point made was plain and simple; that some of the questions people want to keep posting here are unnecessary and could be answered with a little effort and common sense on the part of those asking. As an example, how can you be an account holder and have no idea at all how to get in touch with your bank? And even if for some very strange reason you didn't, have you really never heard of Google? People want to be spoon fed, and it's becoming increasingly annoying having to read all these very annoying questions. 12 Likes |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by FinanceFitness: 9:41am On Jul 12, 2015 |
I don't know which I find most intriguing. Granted, myelle asked a question she could have googled - but she got a response in one post. On the other hand the jests, sarcasm, reprimand e.t.c that followed took multiples of posts - mine included. So I'm here wondering- what's the purpose of this reprimand? Is it really to make the thread compact? If yes, what's the difference between Myelle and others? If just irritation - why should anyone be personally irritated on a free for all faceless forum? My view on this is therefore that if someone posts a question that irritates you, just ignore and let the ones who are more tolerant respond. No need being indirectly abusive in my view. 9 Likes |

Greetings. No offence, buh on as much as dt series of post started as a mild reprimand/correction, the following were just folks taking an opportunity to kid around n unwind from all the seriousness (which was achieved cos truth be told we had a good laugh from funny line of thoughts, not at mylle buh at what we could think up et al). Buh then again, it's said the best you can do for someone who needs #fish isn't really giving them fish but how to catch the fish n cook it for themselves. ... Truly I must say with the lil time I've spent on NL ystrday was like d only time counted wch I just saw fellows kick back n just have fun without fighting. ...pls i commend mylle because the whole session wudda gone the other way. .. I bet even she was laughing at some point. ..lol peace fellas. .. FinanceFitness: 2 Likes |

Agreed, jests are needed, but then again at whose expense? Myelle could not have found it funny - look at her response. I also agree with teaching people how to fish and all, but it really shouldn't be through direct or indirect insults. A simple response to say, why not try their website should be more appropriate. The responses were not in that direction - please read them again. Folks have directed people appropriately without giving then answers on this thread, that was not the case with your post and some others in this instance. olokings: 6 Likes |

Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by olokings(m): 12:21pm On Jul 12, 2015 |
Hey. 1. Send the embassy a notification email on change of travel purpose. 2. Get in touch with an hospital to get quote and correspondence. 3. Get appointment from an ob/gyn as well as correspondence. 4. Prepare your funds. .. Research the thread wch I believe contains answers to most questions may arise. algfred: |

@Olokings. Thanks for your response and advise. I will go ahead and implement action 1. For action 2 to 3. I have started with calls and for Mercy Hospital charges by emaim. I was also advised to contact the aneast. Dept. Seperatly for cost. So i go just do so and also find a doc. With cotact mail. some wey i call and write say dem no dey give cost estimate for delivery unless you walk in to them hospital. So i go try harder and do as you talk. But if i can get info dor NY hospitals wey peic good abeg inbox me for algfred@yahoo.com; For item4. We get fund small by the grace of God, most are in Naira account i just want to know minimum usd wey i go change make madam use fly incase dem want to see how much she is carrying with the master cards with her. I fit access and source 4k for now shey make man increase am to 6k cash? Just asking. Thanks +Regards olokings: |

brokewaist: Hi, sorry about your previous experience and recent confusion... Go see an Ob/Gyn Doctor as soon as possible, but certainly, the Ultrasound scan will be repeated to re-ascertain the current state of your pregnancy, serum PT isn't very reliable in early stages of pregnancy this is because it measures the amount of the pregnancy hormone (HCG) in your blood and most times, it wouldn't have risen to an appreciable level at 7 weeks to be detected in urine or blood, could vary in some people though.. Just relax and see your Doctor.. Ciao! 1 Like |

FinanceFitness: Thank you. Was asked for a copy of my fit to fly which was 34+ weeks when it was issued. I was not asked any further questions about it. Actually almost all airlines is 32weeks from naija. But their website says up to 36weeks & I was going to use that info if they gave me wahala. 1 Like |

brokewaist: You had cramps which is normal in early preg. As long as you didnt bleed i doubt if you lost d preg. And a scan is the surest way to confirm a preg which has accurately confirmed yours. So mi lady. Dust ur pport and visa and get ready to port to el paso. Home pts r not always accurate for many reasons. Wishing you a blissful 9 mths. 1 Like |
