zeezahbee: All, let's continue to give advice based on experience and not on speculation. Your husband having a green card does make things a little harder. Didn't want to mention this so I don't discourage you, My husband tried a visitors visa 3 times and was denied all 3 times cos there was clearly an intent to immigrate according to the VO. And at this time all I was doing with my green card was going to give birth and the 6 month routine. You do have to pay your bills as you are not yet a permanent resident. Even logically if you go to a hospital do the bills come out in your name or your husbands name? And yes if you are not able to go right now, I wouldn't worry too much as your husband can still file for you all. You giving birth there would only have made the process a little faster for only your child. And as I said everyone's case is a little different so I won't discourage you, just be ready with all your answers and pray really hard. Be careful with any responses as it concerns husband being in Nigeria and working. Everything will work out for your good. God Bless 9 Likes |

Hello all, in the spirit of giving back and for those who needs information on Dallas,Texas...... had my baby at Doctor's hospital in Dallas you can google to get their contact, very nice hospital staff and nurses; vaginal birth is $3000 for two day stay while CS is $4700 my doctor was Dr Dennis Abbas a well experienced and very nice doctor with friendly staff, this is his office no:2143888898, his bill is between $2500 to $2700 including all tests..I got my baby's passport same day. If you need more information you can mail me direct or post it here. Wishing everybody a wonderful weekend. 9 Likes 1 Share |

bambini: No, you don't need a transit visa if you are flying BA as long as you don't intend to enter the city. Once u disembark from the plane you ll see purple coloured signpost for pple with connecting flights wch ll led you to terminal 5 where BA uses. 2 Likes |

Amother4life:Didn't you see in the lady post that the husband plan to go live in the USA for 6 months. He has planned to be staying for months in USA and going to Nig as well. I answer the question based on what she wrote here. She didn't not mention nothing about tax so why talk about it. People are PR and citizen here and they stay for few month especially during summer and also go back to Nig for few months. It doesn't make you an illegal as long as u haven't spent more than 6mths outside the USA. The husband should prolly know the pro and cons of his green card. The lady has 2 choice, either wait in Nig to have the baby and the husband file for them , or go to the have the baby in USA and pay the bills if she wants. I stand to be corrected |

segbas: Depends on your pocket and stress threshold. It's easier and more expensive to buy from Lagos to Phoenix directly via BA or KLM. It's cheaper and more stressful to book from Lagos to NY, then take a connecting flight to Phoenix. Most local airlines (except southwestern) will charge you for your check in luggage. Usually in the range of $25 and $35 per bag. Not to talk of the wahala of changing terminals at JFK or changing airports if your local flight is from LGA. PM me if you need assistance 2 Likes |

tbaby2015:I have used virgin Atlantic once tho I wasn't preggy. The space is tight especially if you are on the large side. Overall them try sha but leg space is zero. They might have upgrade recently. |
