I've been using spectranet internet for more than a year now, though their service is good by Nigerian standard (not the fastest speed though), but they have a way of cheating their customers.

I usually subscribe for the 25gb package and my data normally get exhausted within 3 weeks, I don't complain. Recently I found a way of making my data last the entire month, my laptop is always on and automatic update is enabled, so whenever windows updates, it zaps my data. So i put my laptop on manual update, no more automatic update. Now my data lasts the entire month as I monitor it. But what baffles me is if I have lots of data close to the expiry date of my plan, the service becomes extremely slow such that u can't download anything. Such that my plan will expire with me have about 3gb of unused data.

This happened 2 months ago, I had 5gb left on the last day. Decided to download some movies but alas, movies that I normally download within 2 hours spend 9 hours without even getting to 25%. 5gb wasted. Last month the same thing happened. Now this month too, yesterday was the last day and I had about 6gb left. An internet that use to be fast suddenly became very slow. I tried downloading movies but throughout the day I couldn't even get to 15%, until midnight and data expired. I still have 4 torrrent movies stuck at 15%. I am sure if I subscribe today those movies will download within 30 minutes.

Try to top up ur subscription wen u notice its almost expire so as to accumulate d data together....

How do u top up an expiring data? No be dash u want dash them money? U can nor carry over unused data, so toping up is like wasting money because u won't finish it before it expires.

I didn't know u can't carry over unused data..so try use enough data nd leave like 1gb a week to expiring data
